People are Stupid

God this world is freakin crazy.

Did bush cheat during the debate?

Should we prosecute Kerry?

The list of stupid thread titles, including this one, is endless.

All I want to say is

“Are you THAT stupid”

Until we americans get our heads out of our asses and start taking on the REAL issues our country is doomed. Primarily by our uneducated electorate. Lets stop all this party nonsense and start talking solutions. That’s what a t-man would do.

Yeah, it’s kinda goofy to discuss some of those things, but we also talk about “the issues”, as you put it. And yes, it takes the form of heated argument and name-calling sometimes, but I think that both sides make good points sometimes. Although I find myself gravitating more to the “crips” (republicans/conservatives) on the board lately, I also agree with some points that the “bloods” (liberals/democrats) make, too. The fact that it gets out of hand sometimes, and we start analyzing pictures of a wrinkle in Bush’s coat doesn’t change the driving motivation that the participants have in the political forums. We ARE making ourselves heard, if only to each other. And by talking about things in politics and world affairs, and maybe even butting heads sometimes, we are also learning. THAT is what we are here to do, even if we don’t realize it. Sorry if that seems stupid to you. Lighten up, bro. Believe it or not, the world is NOT going to hell in a handbasket anytime soon. Unless Kerry gets elected.

See? That’s a joke. I honestly could give a f#ck about who wins the election. Relax. Have some fun with this. No need to get all… cranky.

What are the REAL issues? I’m not trying to be a smartass here - what do you think the real issues are?

For me it’s taxes, judge appointments, and the war on terror. The deficit is a non-issue to me. I’m 39 years old, and we’ve had a balanced budget/surplus for only 2-3 of those years.

Party-line BS is just part of the election season, like the endless pregame shows before the Superbowl.

Hey, Lothario1132 don’t be joking bout the leader of the bloods! Or I’ll have to bust some caps your way! HA! HA!

Very nicely stated!
