I have been a lurker here at T-Nation for years. I never post although I think my membership dates back to 2001. I’m 49 and doing my 2nd cycle. Last summer I did a 20 week cycle of a mixture of Test-E an Test-C along with 10 weeks of deca and 15 of EQ. I

did a test taper and had no problems, no sides. I was horny as a goat and my dick stayed hard for the entire cycle.

I started a 2nd cycle about 6 weeks ago. Test-E at 500mgs a week, 200mgs deca for my joints, and 600mgs EQ. My dick won’t stay hard and my woman is complaining. I thought maybe it was the deca so I stopped it about 2 weeks ago and upped my Test to 750mgs.

Still can’t keep it up. I’ve never had this problem before and am wondering if it is steroid related or something else.

Any input from the vets would be appreciated.

you still have about another 2 weeks of deca dick left in you. Deca has a long half-life.

Interesting, because I’m currently running a Test E/Deca cycle, at 500mg/300mg per week, respectively. I haven’t had deca dick at all…thank God. I figured my higher dosage of Test was doing the trick…

Thanks, Rainjack. I hope that is all it is. By the way, I’ve used some of your products in the past (dostinex, clomid) and was very satisfied with them.

Bushy and/or Rainjack, do you think the 600mgs EQ is still alright or should I adjust dosage.

For me - test is the base of all cycles. No one compound exceeds my test amount. So in your case - I would run EQ at or less than the test, preferably less.

There is absolutely no scientific basis for this. I just think everything should play off the test.

What kinda anti Es are you on? Too low of estrogen can fuck libido, maybe cause ed too?

No anti-E’s. I had no sides the first time so I figured I was safe this time.

I’m not blaming the Deca; what I will say is that it is possible for the libido effects to linger long past the clearance point of the drug. I have heard of guys being unable to perform weeks even month after ending cycles.

You might just need a temporary fix like Cialis. Something like Proviron is probably not as specificly effective for libido although many guys will add it in on cycle to help.

How much, and how often did you take the dostinex? Big difference?

I took the cabergoline/dostinex for its nootropic properties at .5mg twice a week. The effect was noticeable and I will certainly use it again. I was just reading where it has a positive effect on my curent problem so I may stock up again, sooner than I planned.
