Peelable Hardboiled Eggs

Too much thought process on the damn egg just cook a shitload of eggs…peel them and store them in the fridge.

lmao I didnt know before today that peeling eggs was an art… I do it every day.

a great fun way to do it is…

tap the top and bottom til they chip/cracl make sure there is a slight hole in top and bottom takes 5seconds…

then hold tight and blow as hard as u can one quick hard puff

Supposedly putting a tablespoon of baking soda into the boiling water makes them much easier to peel. Haven’t tried this myself.
It works almost every time. Cool the eggs in cold water and then throw in a dash of baking soda, mix, and then let the eggs sit for 30 seconds.
Put the baking soda in WHILE the eggs are boiling, that will work every time.

Is this really an issue?

I boil them, run them under cold water till cool, then to peel, give them a roll around crack and they peel like a dream.

Problem solved.

The process that always works for me is 1) put them into already boiling water; you’ll lose a couple this way to cracking, then 2) when they’re done (about 12-15 minutes for a dozen XL eggs) flash cool them in ice water. Easy to peel, every single time.
