Lil kitten heels can be adorbs! On a lil mule or a lil round toe show… s’cute!

As far as high high heels for walking of course weges are the best. A wedge with an ankle strap I can run in. Myy best friend calls a wedge with an ankle strap a “rape escape” shoe. Cuz you look like they can getcha but if they tryy you just run run run away!

Damn that makes me miss her… got to plan a trip.
Oh no, no kitten heels, ever. I do ballet flats or fuck me heels. I have a handful of compromise heels, but never a kitten. These are the baby ones I was talking about, so not quite baby. I don’t do ankle straps either, I’m short, they break the line. I will stay and fight.

Feel free to hate me now that I’ve peed all over your heel suggestions :frowning:
Pft! I love you even MOAR.

STAY N fight is right gorl.

Still… rape escape is just fun to say! It rhymes.

I’m with Cal on this - wide hips and no boobs make pencil skirts look way weird. A gentle A-line is more flattering.

but if I had your rack I’d rock the pencil.

Poi, is a kiwi thing

Still scratching my head about shoes on this log, but wide hips and small boobs I CAN understand.

Oh yeah and maybe you’ll have to confront the new weirdo. I hate doing shit like that but sometimes it has to be done. Or maybe get one of the employees (preferably a guy) to say something. There’s no comfortable way address I think.

Lol! Totally. Stretch out them achilles’ btw.

Meh. Don’t worry about that DL (195 ridic good btw), you’ll get it again. I know you don’t want to talk about it but I’m a nosey biznatch. What do you think went wrong?

And don’t you make that sad kitty face at me! Or I will eat it off - its so freaking CUTE! Nothing to be sad about, 5x5 assisted is still good shiz! Just keep challenging yourself! You know the drill :)
Oh, my poor calves. I’m finally stable in heels again and have been wanting to at least wear a few before the snow descends and I’m bundled from head to toe.

What went wrong? I haven’t tried to lift heavy in the AM before and I think that was a large part of it. I might not have warmed up enough. I also wasn’t comfortable. I don’t do the weight room in the morning, so I don’t know the morning crowd and I’m a big baby. I need everything to be perfect before everything can be perfect.

Yup, baby steps, itty bitty baby steps. I just like to complain.
Oh no!! I totally, completely understand! I cut my workout short the other day b/c I was wearing my running sneakers and not my regular pumas - and I just couldn’t freaking do it! UGH!

Sorry to hear about your creeper dude. Usually I don’t get gawkers, but talkers - so its not like I have to breach any sort of barrier, since they do that on their own by coming up to me. But since I live in a city full of fucking weirdos, I’ve had to confront several creeper-types in my day. From the banal to the certifiable. Usually I just ask quite brusquely, “can I help you?” and go from there.

Like Tech said, its never comfortable having to confront someone, especially if you’re like me and prefer to be NON-confrontational. But remember, you don’t owe this man anything - sometimes you just gotta be a bitch (or nuts depending on the nature of the situation). Especially if it involves your safety and comfort.

I am completely with you on the pencil skirts, ballerina flats, or fuck me pumps! My latest conquest is sewing my own skirts because I am convinced it can’t be that difficult, and then I can get exactly what I want. (can’t be that difficult…famous last words!)

As for the creeper, that’s part of the reason I wear hats when I train (aside from the fact that I can’t be bothered with any sort of getting ready). It makes it easy to just put your head down and do your own thing. I know it’s just avoidance, but coming off as a bitch in the gym is easier for me than worrying about dudes like that, they tend to keep their space.

Or maybe just go talk to him and ask if you can help him with something because you’ve noticed that he’s always there. Maybe he doesnt realize he’s being pervy. If all else fails, what masch said, be a bitch.

how far did you say you were from Greenville,MI??

we’re leaving this evening to head up there for the week. One of these times we’ll have to plan a meetup, unless your down for something spur of the moment…you can come sit with me as I get my ink done! LOL!

Also, I was wondering if you include soy in your diet and how much? I’ve read that it may not be so good and especially for thyroid people. Is that true?

DO NOT EAT SOY DO NOT EAT SOY DO NOT EAT SOY DO NOT EAT SOY (fermented ok all other soy is an aboluste NO)

Pencil skirts make me look like a butch librarian. With my short shins and wide hips, they are not a good look, sadly. Doesn’t help that I can’t wear heels. We have a receptionist/secretary at school who really rocks a pencil skirt - she’s in her late 50s but is frighteningly elegant - she looks like a retired Hitchcock blonde. She also drinks, smokes and has a filthy sense of humour. She’s pretty awesome.
Frighteningly elegant is exactly what I’m aiming for.

No no, hips are the best part of pencil skits. Who wants to see a stick outline, it’s the curve that’s gorgeous.

Pic isn’t a pencil skirt per say, but is the awesome silhouette it gives.

Ok, that looks awesome. Do want!

What’s there not to understand about shoes?

I may use the “Can I help you?” line. UGH!

not for everyone…

I occasionally get on the DIY bandwagon, but then quickly realize that it’s just not going to happen. Skirts sound doable though, pictures will be required upon completion.

I don’t deal well with stuff on my head, hats in general make me feel like a cat that’s been dressed.

I’ll PM you.

I don’t really eat any soy. Occasionally I’ll do a gardenburger, or some other TPV concoction, but that’s most just when I want to be easy at a bbq or something. I keep it low for the estrogen issue, and don’t really know about the thyroid interaction.

printing this t-shirt.

I am a shoe whore- for a boy.

goofy loafers to squat shoes I think I am like 16 pairs

and just turn to creep and ‘ask if he needed something’
you midwesterners are too ‘nice’

M
AM: Just not feeling it, and my hips haven’t been happy, so I spent an hour rolling around with bits of plastic. Man, just laying on the foam roller is awesome, you know when it’s under your upper back. Feels so good.

PM:
Warm
Robertson’s shoulders

A1) Inverted Row 5,10,10,5
A2) Incline pushup 10,10,5

The smith machine is as low as it will go for pushups, so I’m going to have to figure something else out. My wrists start to hurt if I just put them on the ground, and I don’t think I can knock out 25 pushups that way anyway, so next session will involve exploring

KB swings 25lbs 2x50
I really didn’t want to do the whole 50 but then I got pissy with myself and did. I need some more suck it up.

So, I need to figure out a better progression to single leg stuff. My leg thing is boring, it’s boring, so I don’t like to do it, so I don’t do it. So I also need to find that pistol progression article.

I’ve been in a music funk. Too much NPR, I don’t know what I like anymore, so I’ve been going to old favorites. Last night was brought to you by Reggie and the Full Effect. I don’t like live, but it’s all I could find.

Lol, if you do, I’ll take one.

The problem is, I don’t know what that middle ground is. I see him and think rape chocke single leg to the ground, knee on belly, no gi baseball choke; but I think that may be too much.
