Pat Tillman

Just wanted to send out a post to keep him in our hearts and minds. Here?s a site started by Tillman?s brother-in-law, Alex Garwood:

I haven?t posted in a long time because I?ve been doing a lot of reading about Tillman. Also, ESPN had an awesome Sportscentury episode that I?ve watched about 3 times now. I get choked up every time I see it.

Anyway I think it?s important we remember him for a long time to come.
America still needs Pat Tillman!

I agree.

Amen, thanks for posting the link.

Tillman is my Hero!

Sorry. I need to correct myself. The Pat Tillman Foundation isn’t just a website, it’s a charity that Garwood left his job to begin shortly after Tillman’s death.

Tillmans the whole fuckn show. Its to really sad he died

Check out this tribute video.

I went to the link, but I couldn’t view it. But if it’s the one that has “Renegades of Funk” by Rage at the beginning, it kicks major ass. I have it saved. It makes an awesome pre-workout stimulant. Not just for the music either, because it gets more somber.

Here’s a different link to the video:

Tillman is the man, as is Lance Corporal Erick J. Hodges, USMC, KIA 10 Nov 2004, Fallujah, Iraq. Died valiantly with his finger behind the trigger. Went to his grave site today at the Golden Gate National Cemetary, was one of my Marines in the offensive. I will never forget him. People call football players ‘warriors’ or bodybuilders ‘soldiers’. Tillman and Hodges were true warriors.

Same video. Thanks for posting a more direct link. Definitely a must-see.

Agreed. EVERY soldier killed in this war and in past wars are heroes. Tillman gives a face to those soldiers.

A true hero. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for that.

FCFighter, thank you so much for this post. You are so right, Tillman gives a face to our fallen warriors. I really appreciate what you wrote.

Thanks for the link, guys. Video really means a lot to me. Remember guys, not just those who died are heroes; but all who had a part in it. Ranger Tillman looked at life in a bigger picture than most and made a valiant decision. I’m glad to wear the same tab as him. RIP, Ranger. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!! RLTW

Good to hear from a guy that has a common bond with Tillman through the tough training and fighting you both have probably been involved in. Kind of gave me chills to hear you call him “Ranger Tillman”.

Thanks to you and all the members of our armed forces, including the often unmentioned Kevin Tillman. May God watch over all of you and keep you safe.

FCFighter -

You should come over to the “Always Faithful, Always the Corps” thread in the politics and world issues section and read what this one asshole wrote about the troops. RLTW

Got this image off of a well-known auction site. Not sure if I’m allowed to say the name. I just thought it was very unique of all the political cartoons I’ve seen.
