Pandora vs. Slacker vs. Last.FM

If you are gonna pay for one I prefer Pandora. If you want to be cheap Slacker is free and doesn’t have any monthly caps if you don’t mind the ads/restrictions.

I know the free slacker limits the skips, so I’m not sure what you mean by monthly caps and restrictions?

Slacker limits the skips and it also limits the number of songs you can request on stations. Neither of which are a big deal to me. Pandora has a 40 hour per month cap.

They run in your web browser. I would think you’d be able to run them on any computer.

No.

I love Pandora and use it when I am in the states. When I am out of country I path it through VPN. When I want to create playlists strictly on internet I use TubeRadio.fm which turns youtube into a music jukebox.[/quote]

X2 on Pandora.

Thanks for the tip on Tuberadio.fm, I can see using this a lot.
