Yes. I’m also a vote counter for this years election.

Here’s a secret: McCain’s gonna win.

Prince served Charlie Murphy pancakes so enough said.

Yes, that’s right. He served the losers pancakes. If they would have won the basketball game, Prince would have served them WAFFLES!

Whisk or fork when whipping the batter?

I use a whisk with the ring pushed forward.

I can’t get behind any of the candidates until I know more about their background.

As for the crepes, I’m suspicious of them. I like them, but I’ve got my eye on them.

Whisk without a doubt. Much better mixing capability and also gets the optimal amount of air mixed into the batter too.

Crepes are like female pancakes.

They’re lighter, sweeter, and more delicate.

But, unlike women they won’t drain you of your soul, and leave you feeling like a mere shell of the person you once were.

I’m kidding.

Mostly

Compromise…

Everyone go have a hellacious workout till you feel sick and then head to your nearest and dearest breakfast place and order:

Steak and double order of eggs, real honest to goodness hashbrowns (not those frozen squares), a pecan waffle and a 2-stack of banana and granola panckaes along, and real maple syrup. The cacophony of food goodness on top of your workout will send your body into anabolic shock and your taste buds will be thanking you all day.

WAFFLES!!!

Real men dont do frozen. They make their own, or even better get a woman to do it!!!

A. Use a whisk its more efficient.

B. NEVER EVER whip the batter. Overmixing causes gluten to form. Gluten will make your finished product tough. The key is to mix JUST ENOUGH to incorporate the wet ingredients with the dry. Only mix for a ten count. Even if you see a tiny clump or 2 of unmixed batter. Count to 10 and leave it alone for 5 minutes. I’tll all workout well in the cooking!

Dont you guys watch Alton Brown at all???

Mine too.

And his recipe works. I made these for a young lady the morning after our first night together… Basic waffle w/ strawberries macerated in sugar and a touch of Gran Marnier… The after breakfast session was better than the night before!

A moment of weakness? Um…I was out of waffle mix? Do either of those work as excuses?

Pancakes.

Best pancakes in the world:
2 cups flour
2 tespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
50g of chicken or tuna
3 eggs
2 cups milk
2 tablespoon of melted butter
3 teaspoon of vanilla protein powder
50g cheese
20g sugar

Kickass!

Pancakes without question.

Well, I asked and I have decided to forgive myself. I will resume with waffles from here on out.

To those who cannot cook:

Kustese pancake mix. The best “just add water” mix.
Bisquick sucks, as does most commercial brands.

and, to the above receipe: One should not mix in meat with pancakes. It is sinful and wrong. If your going to do that, you might as well make a pot pie and get some veggies going too. The acceptable toppings are:

Some type of carmelized sugar and / or syrup
Fruit
Nuts (if in conjuntion with the above)
Ice cream
Flavoring (liquor, extracts, etc.) if mixed with the above.

Note: this list is for pancakes only…Waffles have other rules attached. Crepes are another story altogether.

And Alton Brown rules.

This meat catastrophy sounds horrible.
The only thing I would change to my pancakes, if I were to alter them, would be to put a thin slice of spam on the pan and pour the offending batter over top.

I wouldn’t reference spam as meat though. And I generally prefer my pancake, if I must eat a “regular” pancake, to stand on its own tastewise. Tune? No effin way.
