This.

I also seriously doubt that 2-3 total grams of gear per week was really in the ballpark of what he took when he was blasting. Double that amount would be more likely. Something in the 4-6 range. There are those who ‘cruise’ on a gram or more of gear. 2-3g would be at the low end of the spectrum in terms of pro bodybuilders.
First I will start with a compliment: you look awesome and I see you have made tremendous gains.

Next: that is pretty scary considering a medicinal dose of T per week is 100 to 120 mg. I have been on TRT for over twelve years and on two occasions my levels went supraphysiological (~1500 ng/dl) and medicine had to be adjusted. I did not feel right. I can’t imagine how some of these guys feel with insane levels acquired from that abuse.
I have been tested and was at over 4900 ng/dl. And I wasn’t taking crazy doses. So, I can’t imagine what these guys are sitting at. Their blood must be akin to thick syrup.
How did you feel at 4900? I think I would have severe emotional problems if I was that high, judging how I felt at 1500. I would not be a good candidate for AAS.
I honestly felt good. I have never gotten the anxiety or emotional issues that many report from higher concentrations. I personally know a few guys who on higher doses have to take Xanax or some form of painkiller just to sleep.

I sweated a lot more, but that was the worst of it for me.
This is basically my experience. Only side I have is overheating, and that’s probably related to the facts that I’m sort of predisposed to that anyway, and that my wife won’t let me turn on the fan at night, lol. I’m running 1g of test/week, which puts my current level in the range we’re talking about.

I am in no way predisposed to anger issues or being an emotional wreck. Most people consider me excessively patient. So I believe that’s a big reason why I respond well, as far as personality goes.
a gram! You’re an animal these days
fwiw, that’s a gram of total gear. Not running anything else… yet. plus I did 750 for my first run.

Consensus: Massive amounts of AAS, GH, and insulin, along with god knows what, causes Palumboism and accelerated aging.

I’ve wondered at times how Dave Palumbo must feel about a condition (malady?) with a pretty well known term amongst people in the industry/sport being named after him.

I had asked that question earlier. I mean, he MUST know!

At least he’ll be famous for SOMETHING once he’s gone, and his name lives on!

I guess it just shows that all the “chem cocktails” backfire after awhile,we live in an age where more is never enough .What scares me now are the kids, all invinceable, can’t tell them anything, just doing mass amounts of everything they can get their hands on.Two years ago in the gym,a guy came over and asked for a spot, afterwards and seeing marked signs of AAS,the subject of whey protein, etc. came up.He replyed: “I don’t take any of that stuff,I take WHAT WORKS!”, and he was 19…He came back last summer for a week at the gym [this is a summer tourist town] and he looked like a water balloon about to burst, and he didn’t do much of a workout.,it was painful to look at him, wondering what he’ll be like this summer…

I believe, unfortunately, that Americans become stupider with each successive generation.

Idiocracy has become a reality.

On several Youtubes they’ve shown news report of several men who have died because of this oil bagging - if they wanna ban something, this would be a good place to start, then again,if the desire is there they’ll find a way. I just don’t want to die for a dumb reason.

Palumboism is not caused from oil bagging.

careful not to overdo it with the preworkout then bro

I believe you meant this post for the thread about oil bagging.

Yes,and no.I think about how bodybuilding is nowadays, the fun is gone, now everyones a science project with every drug in creation, the palumboism, the oil bagging, the judges that fuel the war cry of bigger, bigger, more. No wonder the general public dislikes the sport so.Even Arnolds disgusted. It used to be about lifting weights, about shaping the body, now everythings different. And look at what the future is: Bostin Loyid and his ilk.Read an interview with the late Derek Anthony and it just saddened me so much to see how he shaped his life, and now he’s gone, like so many others. It can’t keep going on this way,or there will be no bodybuilding save for the few of us who hit the gym and see it as a hobby. It used to be fun,but no more.

You think Ahnuld was having fun? You think it was fun watching dogs eat his father while holding on to his mother’s headless corpse? Do you have any idea how many years he had to spend pushing that bloody Wheel of Pain to build his physique? 10 years! 10 fucking years dude!

Now we use fucking barbells and build respectable physiques in 3 years with fruity flavored intra workout drinks! It’s all gone wrong. We should all be eating raw vultures and punching camels! Fuck this shit!

And G4P? Fuck it! They’re all sluts!

Crom laughs at us! He laughs from his mountain!

Ok, I am laughin at this,… but do you think any of the old school BBers, and I don’t mean the Jack Lalanne guys who actually did this for their health, I mean even the competitors from Arnold’s day, could they have possibly seen where things would eventually go? Not just the look of the physiques winning shows, but all of the “other stuff” that lives on the edges of the sport.

I doubt so.

But I was poking fun at statements like these:
