I do have some buspar which I believe is an anxiolytic. I filled the script but never tried it. I should experiment.
I feel like my noradrenaline takes over with my gf which affects erection. W viagra it doesn’t happen.
I was thinking more along the lines of maybe a very low dose of Xanax, or lorazepam.
Some guys do like buspar though, its mild. It could work for you. Takes a little to build up though.
I actually just took one and will continue eod.
Dr saya states to take it eod as it will increase serotonin too much. Taking eod will raise dopamine a bit. Can’t hurt to try.

I have experienced the “adrenaline” surge when being intimate with a woman. It definitely complicates things.
I was told that sex and eating are both regulated by the same pleasure/sensory neurotransmitters. This doctor I was seeing was speculating that my adrenaline was going crazy during sex, because I have issues with PTSD.
I have to say though, a lot of my symptoms I had from PTSD got better with test.
Or maybe they were just made WORSE when my T got lower as time went on from deployment. I don’t know.

I get a little aroused and then blood flow stops and that’s it. I feel it’s Adrenalin because it doesn’t happen w masturbation.
But, there seems to still be that underlying lack of libido. Perhaps anxiety is causing lack of libido via neutrotransmission being off. Or they’re both side effects of it.
@anon10035199 @roscoe88 so arousal is a combo of sympathetic and parasympathetic function. When you are tilted more towards sympathetic you will have a really hard time maintaining focus on sex and your body won’t cooperate. Things that help are things that promote relaxation. Yoga, meditation, walks outside (this one CANNOT be stated enough).

I experienced a similar situation except the dose was slightly higher (110mg/wk) nadir was between 300-350. I simply added an extra 100mg weekly and feel amazing. However given your current situation with regards to your health I don’t recommend you do anything without consulting your doctor, I’m just stating what worked for me.
Out of curiosity, are you low SHBG?

Oddly enough, I had a sex dream last night, which rarely, if ever happens to me. Wonder if it had anything to do with the buspar I took last night ?
We’ve all read serotonin is an inhibitor neurotransmitter and thought to decrease sex drive.
But what if someone has too much dopamine or norepinephrine? Wouldn’t an ssri help (counterintuitive) by balancing neurotransmitters and maybe bringing about libido? Too much norepinephrine can cause havok for sex drive.
SERMs tend to rise SHBG that is a big no no.

I read your initial post on here. Do you generally start clients at weekly (one test shot per week) dosing intervals?
This board, and a few others that deal with TRT like protocols that mock a more pulsatile schedule, mainly for estrogen maintenance.

i had the same issue when i was on trt. i would be going down on my girlfriend and thinking about other things. no sexual rush therefore ed because of no libido. i like the idea of trt but there is still a libido ed issue with it
