Osama Bin Laden Dead

I’m not going to bother arguing my point anymore. It’s obvious that none of you will change your minds and that’s fine.
However, I find it sad that intelligent people like yourselves are so brainwashed by the media and the patriot aspect of your culture that you won’t dare go against what your beloved government would say because you believe they wouldn’t lie to you.
I understand that being subjected to it from cradle to the grave, it would be hard to question it and think that another way is possible. But then again, that is how religion works also. Brainwash you from an age where you are too young to think for yourself and anything an older person or authority you take as gospel.

Just to clarify, I’m not having a go at any of you individually or your country. I’d just ask you to not take everything the media says as fact, and think critically. Believe something because the hard evidence is there, not just because the TV told you.[/quote]

What about people like me that aren’t American? How was I brainwashed and how did my patriotism coerce me?

I’d like to know that too. Maybe designing buildings for a living has brainwashed me.

Not believing anything and seeing conspiracy in everything is just as naive as believing everything.
You should also learn to think critically…but the other way around.

I like how me and others have just presented you with many counter-points to your supposed ‘evidence’, and you have yet to respond to that. And then you come back days later with this. Too good.

White women?

I was watching a show on National Geographic about 9/11, it’s a minute by minute account of the day, and for the Truthers, I was wondering what about the phone calls from people on the flights and the interviews with the wives afterwards? Who called them if the planes were remote controlled drones or whatnot?

Also, if it was a controlled demolition, why did they wait about an hour and a half after the planes hit to demolish them? We know the real reason is that it took that time for the burning fuel and other things on fire in the building to heat the steel up enough for it to fail, but funny that Bush and whoever else was in on it decided to wait just the exact amount of time to blow them that it would take for fire to do it anyway.

You won’t bother arguing anymore because because you can’t counter any of the facts that others have presented. As far as being brain washed from an early age I argue it’s quite the contrary. We have the ability to fire and rehire government officials every two to four years depending on office. I think it’s safe to say that we are very patriotic about what America represents while being very critical of our ELECTED officials.

^^ That’s true. We may be patriotic and support the ideals of our country , but America does not have a culture of believing everything a politician says. Hell, they could tell you 2+2=4 and we’d think it’s probably only 3.

I don’t know… why couldn’t the phone calls be from the actual family members? Saying I’m skeptical of what we’ve been told by the govt doesn’t mean that EVERY thing is a lie.

But you know there is a common question… someone asked it earlier in this thread. It goes “if it was an inside job, that would require many people to know about it. NONE of them reported it?? Don’t you ‘trufers’ find that odd???”

We do have many high powered people telling us it was an inside job and/or they are skeptical and/or we have been badly lied to. You may or may not have heard of them, but they exist. Here’s some 911 Commission members:

“We to this day don’t know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us,” said Thomas H. Kean, the former New Jersey Republican governor who led the commission. “It was just so far from the truth. . . . It’s one of those loose ends that never got tied.”

Maj. Gen. Larry Arnold and Col. Alan Scott told the commission that NORAD had begun tracking United 93 at 9:16 a.m., but the commission determined that the airliner was not hijacked until 12 minutes later. The military was not aware of the flight until after it had crashed in Pennsylvania.

These and other discrepancies did not become clear until the commission, forced to use subpoenas, obtained audiotapes from the FAA and NORAD, officials said. The agencies’ reluctance to release the tapes – along with e-mails, erroneous public statements and other evidence – led some of the panel’s staff members and commissioners to believe that authorities sought to mislead the commission and the public about what happened on Sept. 11.

“I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described,” John Farmer, a former New Jersey attorney general who led the staff inquiry into events on Sept. 11, said in a recent interview. “The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. . . . This is not spin. This is not true.”

more

The panel even considered taking the matter to the Justice Department for a possible criminal probe, commission member Tim Roemer said.

“We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting,” Roemer told CNN. “We were not sure of the intent, whether it was to deceive the commission or merely part of the fumbling bureaucracy.”

US Senator Max Cleland

Interviewer: So it’s not some sort of payback?

No. It’s all about 9/11. This is not a political witch hunt. This is the most serious independent investigation since the Warren Commission. And after watching History Channel shows on the Warren Commission last night, the Warren Commission blew it. I’m not going to be part of that. I’m not going to be part of looking at information only partially. I’m not going to be part of just coming to quick conclusions. I’m not going to be part of political pressure to do this or not do that. I’m not going to be part of that. This is serious.

He was on the 911 Commission, but resigned. He claimed he was being stonewalled by the White House… He was not a silly conspiracy theorist… He was not living in his moms basement

? How could someone know how long it would take for fire to do it? Wouldn’t that depend on many factors?

I don’t know if my post will show up well, but I tried. When I preview it turns my quotation marks into " . Also how do I post links… I suspect those wont work, which makes my post suck
