Just to make sure I don’t only bash the US government for their human rights violations, here is an example why I’m highly sceptical of brownnosing China for ecomonical reasons - or thinking western style capitalism brings western style values:
Organ sales ‘thriving’ in China
“The sale of organs taken from executed prisoners appears to be thriving in China, an undercover investigation by the BBC has found.”
I remember those claims from 10 years ago, when I was studying Asian studies at university and students from our China department were highly critical of the Chinese government.
Stuff like this cannot be ignored. As the old German saying goes: “I can’t eat as much, as much I’d like to vomit.”
