Captain America is 6’2, 240 according to Marvel Wiki. I’m going with that.

And Wolverine is 5’3, 195 (pre-Adamantium enhancement), according to the same source.
I know who my money’s on in a fight.

On what planet? 35 Iraqis were killed by troops using M3 fighting knives (or whatever the Brits call it) in combat by 20 British troops in Basra because the Brits had run low on ammo, so they went iron age on their asses.
The knife attack worked extremely well because the Brits could close in on the combatants who had zero skill hand-to-hand, so they slaughtered them, even though outnumbered 3-1.
A unit with fixed bayonets is damn effect at crowd control, too.
Also, a rifle may not weigh a lot, but your kevlar and multiple mags ads up very quickly.[/quote]
That sounds like it spits in the face of the ludicrously restrictive ROE’s and i love it.

There was a picture floating around of the Brits all covered in blood, beat up, with the dead Iraqis just scattered about. They looked tough as Hell. Like a bunch of football hooligans gone to the next level.
I will see if I can find it, but I am generally unable to post pictures here, for reasons unknown to me.
The only article I can find and then the link dies.

Found a better article:
The money quote:
“I wanted to put the fear of God into the enemy. I could see some dead bodies and eight blokes, some scrambling for their weapons. Iâ??ve never seen such a look of fear in anyoneâ??s eyes before. Iâ??m over six feet; I was covered in sweat, angry, red in the face, charging in with a bayonet and screaming my head off. You would be scared, too.”
Corporal Brian Wood
Princess of Walesâ??s Royal Regiment
I’ll post one more and stop reading this thread because I am getting pissed off for no reason and having unhealthy thoughts.
http://www.americanvalor.net/heroes/1848
" The insurgent was flat on his back on the floor. â??I saw he was reeling so I took the M-16 that I had and just started beating him with it.â?? The man fought back, swinging his AK-47 into Bellaviaâ??s jaw, punching him in the face and slamming a foot into his crotch.
â??Never in a million years would I expect something to devolve into such an animalistic fight,â?? Bellavia said.
It ended when Bellavia took a Gerber knife from his belt and stuck it into the manâ??s collarbone.
â??He did the creepiest thing at the end of it,â?? Bellavia said. â??He took his hand and caressed my face. It was really creeping me out because he was almost forgiving me in a sense.â??"

I imagine you’re getting pissed off because the U.S. Army discontinued bayonet training.

So? Who says Canadians can’t be badasses?
Wolverine is also able to heal for any wound. I’m pretty sure that makes his size irrelevant.
With the advancements in military technology, drones, AI, I would want my super clone army to be massive with very heavy feet. After the drones took out the majority of the enemy forces, I would have my clone army of 1,000 6’6" 260+# men march through the conquered city shaking the ground with every step. Of course these soldiers would be equiped with the state of the art detection system and body armour as well as an exo-skeleton that further increases the amount of force generated with each step.
Think along the lines of “Mountain” in “Game of Thrones” but in a Robocop suite.
Of the suit would have that new camouflage that makes it invisible when activated.
I will counter your army with my own army of 5 foot tall 100 lb Vietnamese tunnel rats that will pop out of their holes and start spraying with their $10 AK’s whenever they hear your Robocop behemoths approaching
