Opinion If I'm Low T?

I’m sure you are aware of this but benadryl keeps you from entering certain phases of sleep that allow recovery. I know not being able to sleep sucks and isn’t any better but just throwing that out there. If you haven’t already listen to the Joe Rogan podcast #1109 with Dr Mathew Whitaker. It’s all about sleep and one of my favorite and most informative podcasts I’ve listened to. Could help with your sleep issues.

Thanks, a reason to restart TRT sooner.

Be careful @darrel777 you are being lead down the rabbit hole. These randoms on the internet will fuck you up if you let them. They play doctor and yet after 3 years and several trips to the emergency room they don’t even have their own protocol worked out. You really need to contact someone like Defy Medical and get yourself back on track. You are saving no time or money by messing with your local endo and this bad advice you are getting here on the forum.

Remember shbg fluctuates often and there are so many folks whose free t is high on a high shbg and low as well. Then other guys have low shbg and still need shit loads more free t to feel normal.

If we estimate fine but for someone who doesn’t have free t they could be way off . So the best method is always to start a healthy dose and slowly increase dose until symptoms resolve.

Side note: That is what the calculated is right? It’s I’ve never asked always figured it was an educated guess… wtf let us calculate an important hormone.

Thank you.

@darrel777 this guy above is always saying this shit. If he doesn’t agree with others guidance he thinks it’s bad advice.he blocks guys who ask him to defend his comments and he’s never sat around to explain his comments. Instead he stays passive aggressive . Be weary of folks like this.

The rest of the men here mean well and most of what’s being said is pointing you in the right direction.

You must learn for yourself and really dig into the great info on these boards. All this stuffs been talked to death. Use the search feature and ask questions as you grow in understanding.

A few good sources are : Dr Keith nichols, dr Eric Serrano, dr Neil Rouzier, jay Campbell, and dr anthony jay an edc expert, and dr. Scott Howell. Find their videos on YouTube.

Melatonin. Pharmacy grade melatonin works great. I wasn’t on 3mg it helped. I moved to 6 and bang on I sleep so much better and wake up 8 hours later naturally. It’s been 5 years since I’ve done that. I’m loving it.

The video above was great info. I stopped smoking before bed because of it. It made me realize why I was waking up middle of the night and couldn’t go back to sleep. You did share this last time right?

@enackers
Unfortunately seems I cannot tolerate melatonine at all. Even from one mg before bed the next day I feel destroyed and I assume its not even pharmaceutical eventhough its from a pharmacy.
And I hear great things about its cancer protection properties…

Same. I feel like a zombie the next day even with a small portion of the regular stuff. Not sure why.

@ncsugrad2002 I have similar issue with magnesium as well but no so strong

I haven’t tried magnesium so not sure about that one for me

@ncsugrad2002 normally its good for all western people to supplement magnesium. Most people dont feel anything, I could manage to get myself to tolerate only 150mg aspartate so far with more I feel sleepy. I try to adjust myself now to 300mg aspartate, and aspartate is one of the least potent versions

Sucks . Maybe it’s the fillers. Try some better quality.

Somewhat low, yeah. Take Ashwagandha and D-Aspartic Acid for low T, they’ve both been clinically proven to boost testosterone levels.

Take these for 3 months, get re tested, and then go from there.

Okay so only somewhat low.

I guess everyone is different.

What dosage ashwagandha

Do you have personal experiernce

I heard DAA is no good cause it works and when you stop it crashes you.

Thanks for the feedback

I do have personal experience, and I take about 3 grams of Ashwagandha per day.

I wouldn’t do prohormones like DAA or DHEA, they suck and are extremely liver toxic.

Going to get my testosterone results in a month here, I’ll report back with the test increase. I’m already noticing deeper voice and higher libido, though.

How long did it take to notice.

Any side effects?

Seems like a high dose.

Where can I get more information

I take ashwagandha 1200mg and it helps with adrenals. Never heard of using it for testosterone. I can’t imagine it making much of a difference though.

I’ve tried several brands and this one seems to be the best I’ve tried.

D-Aspartic acid will not cause any meaningful increase in testosterone…if this was happening with supplements would we have a TRT section?

If I take 6mg a day would it shut down whatever natural I have? Would it make my balls shrink?
Curious to know if it would work like a top off?
