Both @hardartery and @hrdlvn I believe are in their 60’s and on TRT.
Ouch. 47. But I am an old goat either way.
LOL sorry about that I was afraid I may have gotten it wrong
Have u tried a lower test dosage? Like maybe 0.5cc a week injected in ED or EOD frequency?
What do you think about natesto
EOD injection is seems like alot of pricks
LOL. I actually am not sensitive about it, I am usually mistaken for in my 30’s.
When it’s the protocol that shows the best results it’s hard not to inject every day otherwise it means you feel less benefits. Besides you should be using 27-29 gauge insulin syringes, barely any prick at all.
I was like you in the beginning, I wanted once weekly injections until after 15 weeks I started feel bad 4-5 days after my injection, twice weekly was a little better, but still not effective. Each time I injected more frequently, I feel better and I kept going until I arrived at daily dosing.
According to my doctor I have a gene that makes me very sensitive to testosterone which makes me very susceptible to feeling even the smallest fluctuations between injections. I feel the effects of T within minutes of an injection and when levels start declining the good feelings disappear.
What kind of dosage is it everyday.
I seem to be like you…
I remember the first week I got my first shot the first thing I remember was how great sleep I got but that sleep was short lived.
Me being sensitive to T, 7mg gets me about TT 417 ng/dL and FT 15 pg/mL in only 3 weeks and would be higher at 6 weeks.
These levels will see amazing erections at 4 weeks and satisfactory erections within the first week. I tried 10mg daily and it felt like more than 25mg EOD which I have tried before. Some men are sensitive to daily injections, a little goes a long way.
I guess the benefits of everyday shots are less conversion to estrogen and steady levels no overshooting.
I
Bingo and this is why I advocate daily injections to those having estrogen issues. Almost everyone that tries it that doesn’t have other issues going on (thyroid/adrenals) rave about it.
I’ve seen some guys who would rather quit TRT than give it a try and go back to the way they were pre-TRT.
At 9 pmol my erections are okay which has me suspecting I would again be better on the lower end of the spectrum.
You will do well midrange or lower, high normal is anyone’s guess, it all depends on your liver ability to excrete estrogen and the amount of aromatase enzyme in your fat tissue.
My pre-TRT numbers are 97-120 ng/dL, SHBG is 14 and on TRT 22+ when on daily dosing.
Twice weekly sees SHBG low to mid teens, the moderate doses suppress my SHBG a little more.
@darrel777
I’m on daily shots as well. You just take the weekly dose and divide by 7. It’s made a major difference in wellbeing for me. A lot of folks don’t need daily shots but for those that do it’s a game changer. Before I could never get right. I tried 100-220mg but nothing ever made me feel like a normal human. That’s when I searched for any other options and even though I really thought daily shots made zero sense it got to the point where I would try anything to feel good. It worked. If nothing else works there’s no harm in trying it.
.75cc / 7 is 10cc a day I guess
I assume you dont reuse needles right
I do but I’m not recommending it. I use the same needle about 3 times and toss it. Never had an issue. If you’re immune system is decent you’re fine. That said, a box of 100 insulin syringes is less than $20 so it’s kind of stupid to reuse them.
Yeah, I’d probably do .11cc a day if it were me.
Im pretty sure hrdlvn is and must of associated it to you also because of the hard in your handle . If I’m wrong with him I will feel like a complete ass lol.
I get mistaken for being younger than I am too. 39 and everyone thinks I’m in my twenties.
I’m trying to figure out if that handle is hardlovin or hardlivin? @hrdlvn , which is it? Or something else?
