Hi All,
A little confused I have low T and were trying to increase it naturally.
Not a fan of TRT for life as hate needles and tried a whole bunch of supplements after being advised by a sexologist, such as Ashwagandha, Tribulis, Ginseng, Mucuna extract and some others and it appears they worked! However, unfortunately had some major side effects so came off them months ago.
After waiting 3 months to ensure they left my system, i thought i’d give Omega Man a try eventually, was on it for just over 2 x weeks and realised that when i tried to get an erection just didnt happen which has not happened before! Now been off it for 6 days and am able to get an erection! What is happening, is this due to estrogen being supressed? And T being too low? Or is there any other reason or something else? Please let us know your thoughts! Cheers lads!
What kind of side effects? Do you know which supplement is the culprit, or was it a combination with them all?
I’ve personally encountered variation in libido on LJ100, which was relieved when cycling on (weekdays) and off (weekends). Also, the addition of Fadogia agrestis corrected the problem.
I believe there may be an estrogen lowering effect on Tongkat ali. Personally, I get lethargic if using too high a dosage over a period of 2-3 weeks. I noticed this during my 3rd cycle on LJ100 (the first 2 cycles went great). Now I proceed with caution, and only take Tongkat 2 hours prior to working out for a wake up boost (periodically).
It seems Tongkat Ali is not for everyone. Have you tried Fadogia from a proper brand?
Not sure at all, I’d rather find out the root cause and then tackle that but in the UK they just dont do that unfortunately, easier to just start meds for Life by sticking needles in rather than cure the issue directly! If theres anyway of funding this out please let me know and im happy to try do so! Cheers
Well, since direct measurement is out, indirect is the rout.
So, I respond really well to Tribulus. The one probable mechanism for action of Tribulus is high SHBG. I only respond marginally to LJ 100 as a stand alone.
So, if I were you, I’d use tribulus in conjunction with LJ 100, cuz when I do that I can bang holes in cinder block.
Not sure tbh, i just stopped as starting getting spasms under eye, low BP and HR dropped to 45 and severe ear dullness. So had to come off them, tried to explain this to the Dr that prescribed in overseas but he wasnt having it and said its not possible. I know what i was feeling wasnt good so just came off at that point.
Ah no not tried Fadogia with it, as it was the Omega man from Biotest but defo lost libido after 2/3 x weeks and erection issues so came off it totally! I’m not sure if it’s for me tbh if it’s doing that rather than the opposite in helping me, im pretty sure its supressing estrogen and mine may be a little low already due to low T so makes it worse!
What Fadogia is a good source and is it availablein the UK?
Any other ideas for decent supplements that may assist without side effects?
If you’re UK based NHS will probably be a waste of time. It also strikes me you are just throwing random stuff at a problem with no idea why, have you got any blood work? If not go private (medichecks) and get some sorted.
Since Biotest don’t make/sell Fadogia agrestis, I recommend the Double Wood brand. An american company but many countries import from them. Not sure what happens exactly now though, as Trump made his latest daily decision public. You would probably fare well with any solid brand. Fadogia is not that expensive.
