Prof X .and Big Boss, if someone really does tell you off in person, what are you going to do? Throw your life away like the dude in the pizza parlor video?
I do agree though, that almost every thread involving a beating of this sort brings up some mention of race. I thought it was restrained on this site.
What is so hard to understand about the situation that occurred. Two people were tossing insults at each other and one decided he wanted nothing to do with it and walked away. The other escalated the situation from trash talking to violence. It does not matter what the guys said, everything changed when the situation got physical.

I don’t recall stating face-to-face ultimatums or repercussions. It’s the internet…people’s junior high insults and chest-thumping here an after thought in my day…trust me. I will say that the words used towards me would make for a very interesting discussion in person…and I will leave it at that.
I’ve had just as much fun in this thread as most of everyone else…and without making race an issue. I only chimed in again because someone decided to act as if X was the almighty culprit of bringing race into this thread and was blindly accusing white posters of being racist. Which was pure bullshit.
Is Prof X more sensitive to the REAL culprits of the(supposedly, but not obvious joking) racial comments? Yes. Could he just left them alone even after I and others addressed them pages back? Yes. But he didn’t…so what.
I don’t agree with everything X states. He has his own opinions and ways of getting his thoughts across. I only had problem with the loose accusation of him being racist. This should have been obvious…but since I came to his defense I obviously agree with everything he says…
just because I’m black. I kid…I kid…well,almost.

That is funny here I thought you were one of his little white “friends” and your actually black. I still love in this post how you say that “the words used towards me would make for a very interesting discussion in person” once again a threat of what you would do to a person if you could lay your hands on them. I mean come on man, it is sad as fuck that you think that violence is the answer. Maybe just maybe you and the black man on the bus are a lot like eachother in this instance.
And what I mean by that is, that you like him seem like a person that would not be happy with just confronting a guy then letting shit be, since there was no physical threat after Bruso went to the front of the bus. You and the black man on the bus are alike in that you feel physical violence is the answer and that is where you will both be in trouble.
On the other hand I don’t know you at all, and have only ever read your posts in this thread so I could be way off. But, it is an observation that I thought worth making and quite funny.[/quote]
Wow.Yes,you are way off…and, yes, your observation is quite funny. I’m not some insecure man threatened by childish words. I have no need to try and prove anything with my fists(and feet). I save that for something else.
When I said “interesting discussion in person” I meant just that. I wasn’t being passive-aggressive. I’m a very sarcastic ass when verbally challenged. So naturally,it would be entertaining…considering your initial choice of words towards me.
Also,if my previous words had no important relation to me being “black or white”…why do they now?

I think you know the answer to that.
Anywhoo, the moment someone actually comes up to me and says even half of the crap I read here, then I will let dear “deadlift665” know my reaction. My guess is though that he will be waiting a long time.
I don’t start fights either. I haven’t even been in a physical fight since freshmen year of college.
Listening to all of the internet bad asses is entertaining though.
Apparently noting that people seem to avoid confrontation with you or I now means we beat up everyone we disagree with.
That’s great to know.
