Conditioning: Elliptical 18 minutes at level 4, speed 4.0
So, my right elbow feels like it wants to dislocate when I bench or dip with any sort of heavy resistance, so I stopped light on bench, and did my dips assisted, which was no problem. Not sure what’s going on with my elbow, but I’m not taking any chances.
So I was sick before Christmas, and that lingered through Christmas, but I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I did a soft reset starting a couple weeks ago, just putting in work using the sets/reps/program I was using before I got sick, but not establishing working weights yet, just getting back into things. Also decided to give myself a birthday present and signed up to start doing Muay Thai at a gym in Topeka twice a week. I’ve boxed in the past, and done Judo and Shorin Ryu Karate, but it’s been 2 decades since I’ve done any sort of combat sport training, but I saw the school while walking about NoTo with the wife, and it appealed to me so I signed up. I’ve gone 4 times so far, and my conditioning coming off being sick is trash, but I’m enjoying myself a lot. Getting in and throwing gloves with people is a pleasure I’ve been depriving myself of for way too long.
