I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since I posted that.

Things have gotten a lot better. I still haven’t gotten back in the gym, but there’s a good chance I will this week. I’m eating regularly, my weight’s back in the mid 180’s, which isn’t terrible, and my general anxiety is minimal.

I had been taking Klonopin the last couple months for some anxiety relief, and that helped a lot. I’ve been off of it now for the last 2 days, after a half dose the previous two days, and I still feel ok. So that’s definitely progress.

Thanks guys! I can’t begin to describe how cool this is to me. I was sitting on my couch playing video games last night when I saw ‘TNation LLC’ pop up on my phone. I had no idea this was coming before that. Im not surprised that I would land in the top dozen or so choices for this role to start, but I am pretty shocked that I made the top 2. It’s a hell of an honor, and one I plan to take seriously.

Maybe now I won’t get quite as many new guys telling me I’m an idiot, lol.

So I’m really excited to get back to training, but I’ve been dealing with covid since last Friday (for the second time), and I am going on a cruise with my family in a week. My plan is to start working out again on the ship, and when I get back to the US, I’m ready to start pushing hard again.

Alright guys, I figured I’d start logging again since I plan to participate in the physique challenge thing. This post is really just to establish a baseline. I’ll be posting some starting pictures… hopefully today, maybe tomorrow.

I didn’t train consistently last year, and I’m making the gym a priority this year. I plan to start the year working mostly on physique goals, rather than strength-exclusively. I plan to gain a fair bit of weight over the first 6 months of the year, and then I’ll be reevaluating based on whatever progress I make.

Here’s where I’m starting: I’m waking up in the 180-184 lbs range right now. I was in the high 170’s about a month ago, but I’ve been eating better and I’m already feeling stronger. The goal is a solid 200 by the summer.

Supplements I’ve been using/will be using:

  1. Creatine. I haven’t used this in MANY years. And I don’t really have a reason for not using it, everyone should. I just picked some Biotest Creatine up today, and I’ll be using that daily.

  2. I-Well. I started using this early last year, but not daily like I should have been. This will be a daily supplement.

  3. Flameout. Same as the I-Well.

  4. Surge Workout Fuel. This stuff is awesome, I’ll be using it for all my workouts.

  5. Brain Candy. I’ve been using it since it came out, it’s not going anywhere.

  6. Spike Shooter. I’ve been using these for about a month now, and I love them!

  7. Kratom. I use this daily. This is essentially one of only 2 non-Biotest ‘supplements’ I take. I decided to list it because it is part of my daily routine, and it isn’t food, lol. I use one strain to elevate my mood/focus during the day, and another to help me sleep.

  8. Melatonin. For sleep. I’ve been using this for awhile now, and it hasn’t lost its effectiveness for me. One pill and I’m out in an hour.
