Humans may be hastening via climate change or we are just ushering in a new atmosphere the living beings here will adapt too…think similar to the heavily oxygenated atmosphere that allowed 6 foot long dragonflies to thrive.
To think humans are the penultimate species on the planet may be foolish.
And what scientists are pushing this message?
The living beings likely won’t be homo sapiens.
The history of the planet has shown that it has gone through multiple changes in atmospheric climate. 10k years (or more) from now, another sentient species may look at an era ended by climate change as just another point in earth’s evolutionary line. Us humans like to think we are the top of the evolutionary ladder - a rather prideful assumption.
