Official T-ransformation 2017 Thread

I appreciate the compliment man, but I don’t think I’ve made near the progress you have.

You went from a “That guy probably lifts” to a “Holy shit, I bet all that guy does is workout”.

Keep it up dude!

Thats only because you already looked awesome, and I looked terrible. haha

That’s what it’s all about! Being better than you used to be. You have an awesome physique now and that will grant you a lot more flexibility going forward for both nutrition and training.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s Transformations, there is a lot of muscle and knowledge kicking around these forums.

probably makes sense to cut your transformation process short, but as a father of a 2 year old, I will suggest very strongly that you do what you can to keep the gym as a major part of your life in the coming months, as much as you can. It’ll help keep you sane, and I can promise you, physical time away from the house a few times a week will be much needed and deserved. The next 6 months to a year are an amazing time, and you’ll want to spend a jillion hours with your kiddo. But don’t get a dad-bod, man. You’ll be a better father if you keep doing the things that are important to you outside of the family. Enjoy dude, I’m genuinely envious. I miss that time in my son’s life.

Agree with everything (my son’s 18 months); except, I thought the first 4-6 months were just awful…

I know a lot of people who had that. The first month was rough for me, but my son was sleeping in his own room, for full nights, at 1 month. He stopped sleeping at around 9 months, but for awhile it was easy.

Oh, man. We didn’t get a full night of sleep until he was 9 months… It was rough, especially on the wife. It’s awesome now, though.

Thank you all for the kind words. Been wanting and trying for this for so long and it’s still all seems like a dream! I was told I would probably never have a biological child so to be in this position is a blessing.

Will try and get some pictures of my current physique. @flipcollar I will be back in the gym as soon as possible as I lose my mind when I can’t train. But until we find our feet I will just be getting the odd session when I can along side some training at home.

Will add some pics in my transformation log, didn’t want to take this thread to far off topic.

Thats true lol

My son got REALLY sick about 17 hrs after he was born. He spent 8 days in Medical City NICU in Dallas. They messed with him all day and night for 8 days.

He did not sleep all night until he was 2 1/2 years old. :weary:

First night he did, it scared me to death

Are you in Dallas? I live less than 10 minutes from Medical City, lol.

Wisdom.

Our kids both slept through the night at 2 months. That was all my wife’s design. We had a routine down cold.
Fresh diaper.
Swaddle.
Nurse in a rocking chair.
White noise (classical/guitar music)
Pitch black room with dark curtains (no nightlight).
Put the kid down in the crib gently and pat their tummy. Out cold.

We have friends with a 4 yo that still won’t sleep through the night. I suggested chloroform, they didn’t think it was funny lol.
