Yeah, I’ve been to Board And Brew before, good stuff. A buddy of mine that use to work at the GAP over in Prospect, he led me on to it.
As far as good ole mexican food is concerned I like Jalapeno’s in Carmel Mountain, Lucha Libre off of Washington St, for rolled tacos I like Patrons in Mira Mesa, for my pollo asado, Super Sergios in Clairemont, for shrimp burrito I like Cotixan off of Market st in downtown, and last but not least for my Machaca I like Albertos in Poway. board & brew makes huge sandwiches, I go to the one in Carlsbad. ever try El Indio’s? it’s just south down the street from Lucha Libre and Ponce’s in Kensington is awesome (literally was going there before I was born, my mom went there all the time when she was pregnant with me).

I have actually been there haha, weird. It is one of the only places I went to when I was in the area last summer. Walked right over that bridge. Unfortunately I only drove around UCSD because at the time i didnt know i was going there. I’m definitely favoriting this thread for reference once i move down i september

No worries, there are some bullshit areas between here and the sac. My place is in that zone, though, and I love it. I also dig how sleepy and chill the town is while people steam on up the 101 without even giving it a second glance even better

Am I the only one who thinks meeting up for a training session is a bit unnappealing if you’re driving a long distance? I mean let’s say I drive to Balboa Park, partake in some prowler pushes, leave the park after sweating profusely, extremely tired, just finnished throwing up, and now I have a long drive back to LA?? Fuk that mess!
If there’s a meetup I say make it a BBQ with plenty of steak and anabolic diet type foods! I’m down for that. Maybe throw a soccer game/ volleyball/ football game in there. But a serious prowler workout followed by a long drive sounds like a nightmare to me! lol
