Hey everybody so I moved down to PB and working out at the arc. For the summer I’m thinking about freezing my gym account and finding a new gym that has bumper plates and isn’t so crowded. I tried golds today for the first time down on sports arena blvd and it was pretty sweet. I’m thinking I’ll probably get a membership there unless anyone knows of a cheaper place near PB with bumper plates and a small crowd. Btw they told me it would be 30$ a month no contract.

That place has the best sushi I have ever had. Fish is so fresh, you could swear it was still swimmin’.

I’ll be attending SDSU as a freshman this fall. Any advice? How’s the ARC by the way? I’ve been wondering would I need to bring a car my first year? My parents say I should be fine without one for my first year, but I’m skeptical. Although I’ve heard parking is a bitch. So maybe it’s best. Also, is joining a frat worth it? Lol… I’ve been debating.

Depends where you live. I took the trolley to school when I went there. I lived pretty close to a trolley station and I didn’t even want to deal with parking.

I’ve been in the ARC many times but never really worked out there. It seems pretty busy there though.

I never joined a frat. When you start taking your major classes you have a bunch of the same people in your classes and you get to become friends with them.

I’m living on campus so I won’t have to take anything to school.

Except condoms. Also, work on your neck mobility. That place will give you whiplash.

Man, oh, man you are going to have a great time.

No input on frats. I was in college long ago and was on sports teams and didn’t join a fraternity. I went to undergrad in NorCal but had some seriously great times with the SDSU Waterski Team.

Fuck everything in sight, be careful of course. If she’s sloppy, blame it on the alcohol.

Yeah, i just freeze my membership during summer winter at the ARC and go to golds/worlds. You may want to try again and ask for $15. I used to pay $30 but when they advertised $15, I asked about and they were able to change it.

This past Spring I’ve been hitting Golds before going on campus to use the bumpers and I usually get better workouts than the arc, plus it’s alot less crowded.

For sure join a frat I’m about to be a senior and I’m always regretting not joining. And avoid the arc. I hardly ever get a good workout unless I got at 10 on a Friday night. It’s just too crowded otherwise

Checked out golds the other day. It was awesome. Used the bumpers and the outside. I went at 4 on a Saturday and it wasn’t too crowded can it get really crowded? Thinking about going there over summer and like you said freezing the arc

Which one of you guys brought this heat with them? Jeebus, this is ridiculous. I don’t pay California prices (and SD prices at that) to live in Arizona.

I don’t plan on bringing my car, so I think I’ll have to bear with the ARC at least for my first year.

Yeah this is very unusual this early in the year. Now we got fires burning because of the heat, wind, and lack of rain over the Winter/Spring seasons.

I’m in North County. Shit’s burning all around me all afternoon, yo!

I take it you didn’t get evacuated? I can see the smoke from my house here, it’s bad.

All good in PB haha

103 here in the shade, the beaches are in the 90’s.

There was a fire on the 405 freeway yesterday, burning between the north and south lanes, people were driving through smoke and flames to avoid getting stuck in traffic.

It’s hot like Africa .
