When were why and how dude…
I’d really dig checking out a practice at least.

hahaha for sure.
I’ll talk to the team manager soon and find out when we’re going to get together for our first meet up. Last season we scrimmaged the three weekends before the season started but we talked a little bit about getting together earlier this year. The season starts in two months (March 19th) so we probably will get together in maybe 2 weeks or so?
Fuckin A bubba.
Sounds good.

i know right!
but who knows if its legit or if he’ll come out or not. That would be awesome cause he would smash everyone we play against and by far be the biggest guy out there lol
Free Surge Recovery to anyone that wants it in San Diego.
I have 1 unopened, 2 opened but mostly full (1 at work, 1 at home).
Flavor is Raspberry.
Reason is that it doesn’t work with my diet and multiple injuries and is too many refined calories. It is a good food, just not something I need or use anymore.
First PM to me gets it.
Chris
Dam, wish I was back in SD to get that Surge & to be working out at The Olde Gym at 32nd Street feeling that nice cool breeze. Instead i’m stuck in the middle of no-where’s-ville…AKA Ridgecrest

if all goes as planned, tomorrow will be my first day at World Gym in PB. I am slightly intimidated. I have heard it is one of the more hardcore gyms in san diego, we will see what happens.
Seriously, the lifting environment there is better than any other gym that I have ever been to. The one time I went there, I set a deadlift PR simply because of the attitude everyone else had.
Plus it’s right next to an In-n-Out, so a post-workout 4x1 is doable.
I train at World’s everyday. Like everyone else said the environment is unmatched and everyones helpful, no need to be intimidated just motivated.

Gregon gawddam it look at what you’ve done! I was hoping to dominate the field by being one of the few serious lifters and now you got all these other t-nationers coming out of the wood-work.
230?! Former d-linemen!!! Fuck that noise. I’m going to go play some racketball instead…
P.S. Give us the details of when, where, and how brah.
hahaha lulz!
What’re you stats man? I know you’ve got a serious DL but I dont know much else… Give us a little profile of your stats and playing history/skills
Whenever I find out when we’re gonna get the team together I’ll let you guys know whats up.
Well as for official fball playing I have none. I’ve always played pick-up full contact football and have been everything from tight-end to receiver. It just depends on the team make up and what the QB wants to do.
In short, I can be what-evers. Just happy to smash fools lol
The only sports I have officially played were in high school; 189lbs wrestler and pole-vaulting.
Yes, I was the heaviest pole-vaulter by 50lbs.
For general stats:
5’10’
~195lbs
@ Official APF meet
Squat:485lbs
Bench:285lbs
Dead:550lbs
100m Sprints for off days and I’m currently running 5/3/1
Want a/s/l too? ![]()

I used to train there too, I train elsewhere now though. Olde Gym just doesn’t do it for me anymore, especially this time of year when all the new years resolution folks show up.
Dude I feel for you, I know right where you are, had to do some work out that way back in August. No-where’s ville is pretty accurate.

485lb squat @195 bodyweight? Dude fuck you lol. you better be running circles around everyone out there.
How much is the membership at worlds gym in PB? I might consider going there. My gym at UCSD is full of a bunch 135lb prepubescent boys

I just pictured him squatting out in the middle of the field. Similar to me practicing my power clean form in english class senior year. The ladies loved it…

Well fuck YOU buddy! lol
I workz out at teh RIMAC.
I’m sure I’ve passed by you one time or other in my five years going to that gym lol
It varies, they don’t do contracts. You just pay up front for how much you want. day, week, month, 3months, 6months and 12months I believe. The longer you go for the cheaper is per month. I honestly didn’t pay attention to the number but i think it averages to like 30 a month.
If you go, try hitting it up later at night with the powerlifters, typically a better crowd.

Haha maybe you’re one of the few ridiculously strong people I have seen in there. I’ve only seen a couple though. One of them being over a 6 plate deadlift for a few reps. Most weight i have ever seen lifted in person. Crazy shit
Anyone know of any cheap places to get steak? Any good butchers around the SD area?
i just bought my 30 day pass at Worlds today. Cost me 50$. Pretty good for short term in my opinion. 12 months costs 300$. 6 months is 180$. It is all on their website.
There was no doubt that the crowd that frequents that place takes this lifting thing serious. Every person there was impressive in some way. No bro’s, no soccer moms, no cardio queens. It is going to be a good 30days.
