PARTY POOPERZ

^^Yeah I heard that they were trying to find a way to make it illegal as well. I hope that they dont because its pretty lame but whatever. I think they should lift the ban on beach drinking and just ticket really hammered people who are acting like idiots.

Its just a shame that they are ticketing people who are just hanging out BBQing and have a few brews. Thats super lame

Okay, I’m PISSED! I didn’t know there was one last weekend and missed out :frowning: And now i heard this morning it was the last one becuase the city council had a emergency meeting and killed Floatopia. On a side note i joined a PB facebook group to try to keep up to date on events in the area.

I agree with the girl in the article when she said, â??I think the reason theyâ??re trying to do it is theyâ??re old and they suck!â?? lol. I just imagine a bunch of bitter old ladies complaining about those darn kids.

I think you’re still allowed to drink on a boat, so i guess i’ll be getting one of those.

Anyone know about kate sessions park, someone mention that as a spot to go.

kate sessions park is in PB. It is pretty big and typically pretty packed considering you can drink there. There is at least one softball field for -slosh ball-

you can drink there? I didnt know that?

yes sir, alcohol can CURRENTLY be consumed legally at kate sessions park…but, of course, the city council wants to ban it and that, i believe, will be happening quite soon.

Ok people since I lurk, I am going to come out of the lurk mode for a second.

Yes they did ban the floatopia but there is still a loop hole and the event is back on. Facebook group Floatopia San Diego. You are OK to drink on a kayak, rowboats, sailboats are good to go. People are going to be using inflatable raft. Sports Authority has a two person one for $15 bucks. If you never been, its a lot of fun. Carry on.

^^ UNKNOWN HERO TO US.

You sir are like Batman fighting for the right of the people through loop holes of the law…
Except instead of putting away criminals, we are probably going to cause more crime than we solve and we are doing this for booze lol

San Diego - They legalized pot…legalize drinking on the beach.

it was legal till the 4th of july riot in PB a couple years ago

Group joined and heading to Sports Authority after i get back from Vegas. There’s one just outside of PB off of Balboa.

Btw, if anyone makes it to AZ, you can float down the salt river and drink. Girls tops always seem to get lost in the river somehow, awesomeness.

Question… How is the weather in San Diego during the winter time or coldest times of the year? Whats the avg temp?

So I was just wondering if any of you fellow San Diegans have suggestions for any good A.R.T practitioners in the area your help is much appreciated.

Stay Classy San Diego

it will rarely be below 50F. I can pretty much wear shorts all year round and be comfortable. If i need to i will put on a sweatshirt, but my body always runs a little on the warm side.
