Mirror says I’m doing great, scale says eat more you skinny little bitch.
Not sure who to believe, weight has stayed the same for a while, I think maybe I’ve hit the mythical recomp, or gained upper mass but lost leg mass due to not actually training them with weights.
Pre-breakfast cardio and the “less bagels and spaghetti” approach that worked so well last year.
But yeah, working with a Green-ish Faces (Green Face-ish??) approach. Saturdays are the biggest stumbling block since they’ve basically been either “catch up with stuff around the house and veg at night” or “leave the house for 9 hours-worth of errands”.
Either way makes it tough to stay on track diet-wise. Mrs. is wrapping up a hectic tax season, so comfort food has been around more than I’d hoped.
In case you’re wondering, it doesn’t get that much easier when they’re grown and living in the basement or when they ask you to pick them up at the airport at 5am.
It’s not good all the time, not bad all the time. Just all the time.
One thing, no way adult children bring home as many germs as preschoolers. I’ve had more colds on the past few months the kid has been in school than I have in the past 10 years.
Ahh. Well. My parents made it clear to me that any children I had we’re going to be my problem, not theirs. If that meant no college and no future for me, tough.
There’s a lady at T-Ball who raised her grandkid for her deadbeat daughter, and then 15 years later she’s now raising her great grand kid…
I felt bad for her and mad at her at the same time.
Since… Im too damn late to enter. Im planning on possibly doing this on my own for six months and seeing what happens.
Figure what the hell … give my old soft tissue a break from heavy stuff and seeing what I look like after removing some of the excess padding.
Sticking with 5/3/1 but upping the accessory work (hammer curls, rows, pulldowns, lateral raises) for upper body hypertrophy. Scale weight is only a few pounds above where I want to be, so I’m trying to focus on things that will contribute to V-look.
