I am in no way looking to get everyone to see things my way. I am providing a fair chance for both sides. If after that you still want to believe in self deceit, then I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am not desperate for anybody to conform to my beliefs. That is why I am obtuse with presenting them. I believe that man is more than he wants to accept. I do not for one second believe that man has any god greater than himself. Living in hope of the after life is a great way to waste ones living life. Looking forward to an after life that might not come is a great way to make sure you live a rather pathetic life while here on earth. I do not know weather or not their is an after life. I am not dwelling on it though.

Very poor comparison indeed. My religion is a rich religion based on faith as well as fact. Have you ever read about the archeological digs which prove many of the stories of the Bible? You should do some reading.

The Bible says that it’s easy to love those who do kind things for you. But it’s more difficult to love those who hate you. And that IS the measure of strength, doing things that are difficult to do.

Have I done things in my life which most people would consider bad. Sure, but you know what the difference between us is in that respect? I try to do the proper thing, which is to apologize to whome I may have hurt with my actions, not ask some sky god for blanket forgiveness. By that reasoning and that kind of system the most vile and depraved humans to ever walk the earth could be waiting for you in heaven, should it exist. Do you know if hitler repented and asked for forgiveness before he died?
