Yeah i agree with the above. But surely you have to take into account that after a while gains will have to slow down at some point.
Why would I be concerned with that before it happened? If and when it does happen, I decrease calories if I am gaining too much body fat. Your body is going to go through periods of drastic supercompensation, mild gains, no gains, loss of gains and tons of other changes over years of building yourself up. You don’t choose for your body how fast it should grow. You let it do that…or else you are doing it wrong.

All this said…what is your perspective on my current gain and my current conditioning. All words are appreciated.

I know you are against “bro science” facko but I would suggest carb cycling for a bulk. I know you’re all IF this and IF that, but just throwing in a suggestion man.
Wait
How can someone be against bro science and be pro IF?
IF is just the latest gimmicky shit

I will readily admit that IF has a lot of smug, dogmatic followers, and people go way overboard with it and make it seem like some sort of magical cure-all. That said, there is a whole lot of evidence supporting the benefits of short term fasting - and there are a lot. I can give you a decent list of studies that I’ve collected if you want.
That said, people have done just fine without IF for a long time, and that’s fine. It’s just another potential tool. Personally, I love it. It fits my lifestyle pretty well.

…Unsure if you read my response. I think there MAY be some evidence that IFing is beneficial…at least in terms of improving some health factors. However, I am not under any impressions that it is somehow superior to eating more frequently across a larger eating window. In fact, I don’t follow anything dogmatically. Some days I eat breakfast, some days I just naturally don’t. Some days I pound all of my food in like 2 hours…some days I stretch it out over the course of an entire day.
I have found, personally…and it is in my opinion that what REALLY matters is hitting my calories and macros on a daily, consistent basis…not the amount of meals I had to do it in…

If something is working for you, do it.
You’re making noticeable progress. No one can take that away from you.

I don’t want to hijack the thread. (actually I do but it’s related to the OP’s thread)
Can you describe some of the periods you’ve experienced?
Such as a big supercompensation or a really long period of no gains?
I am currently in the post contest bulking stage and figured it would be helpful for myself, the OP and other bulkers to hear anecdotes about other’s bulking experiences both for information and encouragement.
Like most Have said… Things look good and you are in no way looking sloppy. Keep doing what you’re doing and if you hit a period where you really feel too flabby (shouldn’t be for a while at least) just hold cals steady or back off a few hundred cals for a week or two to get things back under control and then proceed fr there with a smaller increase.
If your worried about fat during a bulk, then I think it’s better to add a few high volume days, then reduce calories. If you gained a great deal of fat it would be different, but conditioning, volume or gpp can really aid a good bulk.

You don’t look like you gained a lot of fat. It was actually a pretty good job for 3 months. Congrats man! no need to be that worried yet. I would actually up the calories on off days and definitely up the protein. An old poster here kept pushing on 2 pounds/lb, when I gave it a try I saw quick results.
