Nate Silver the big winner tonight.
Big loser: Brietbart and other righties who called for a Romney stomp that was nowhere near happening.
America had already lost with either big party winner tonight.
Ha, great post. I’m still down for #war more years though. Movement is still young, trying to find it’s feet.

Agree. The cult is strong with O, and hats off to them for grinding that democrat machine to get not only the progressive in chief, but a statest senator that openly thanked the Labor movement in her speech. She isn’t talking about unions.
In other news christy isn’t getting on the R ticket nationally, ever.
For my own small part, I will fight his fat ass every step of the way, if he thinks he will.
Damn… Colorado legalized weed.

Very much so. I hope this election forces the Republican party to shift to center. Much like what Reagan did for the Democrats during his presidency. The competition of ideas only strengthens this nation by encouraging innovative solutions for the future. Let’s get back to moderate and Internationalist Republicans leading the party.
Colorado also passed their marijuana legalization law, enjoy the crime increase.
I feel so bad for my kids right now…
That said I owe the following:
jnd was right
groo was right
nate Silver, while still a hack, was right
If I missed anyone, sorry, but you were right too.

Give Christie a kick in the ass for me, he is much closer to you than me, Lord knows the target is large enough.

LOL…But I’m pretty sure the Rush Limbaugh empire is much more profitable when the “other party” is in office.

I’ll admit it, I laughed. First I’ve smiled in the past 2 hours.
People voted for Obama because he inspires people to believe in a better tomorrow. He’s a uniter - groups of people voted for Obama, individuals voted for Romney. Collective vs individualist was the theme of the election.
And honestly, why not? That’s one of the major roles of a leader - to bring people together or at least make them believe they can get together. The executive office has limited power anyway, beyond what is expropriated by the 3 branches of government in the U.S.
The President (noun for the office) has limited power of the economic cycle anyway. Monetary policy has always trumped fiscal policy. The President does have influential force over foreign policy and if I was an American I’d want Obama handling my foreign policy (ESPECIALLY on terrorism) rather than Romney.
If people truly believed the President had a major impact on their daily lives they would have voted Romney in. It’s really that simply - don’t bash your countrymen, especially when they’re in the majority.

Bingo.
While Romney disavowed his comment about that I never did.
WRONG, %100 of people love free shit. 47% of people don’t understand that “free” shit has the greatest cost.

The fact that the words “whoring ways” have been used in seriousness in this thread blows my mind.

Good post.
Worst part about this, is there goes any chance of finding out the truth in Libya.

I conceded once, but I’ll tag on here and give my respect to you guys, as well. I was wrong, most of the posters on this site were wrong. You guys and that asshole Nate Silver called it.

I would think that all the believers on this forum would just accept the re election of Obama as their god’s will. Or, could it be that the Obama campaign outmenouvered even thier mighty god?
Say it aint so…
It’s so arrogant to presume that an all powerful Creator of the Universe would take personal interest in one election of one nation, on one planet, in a solar system of 8 planets, in a galaxy of 200-400 billion stars with perhaps as many planets, and in a Universe of at least 100 billion galaxies. Yeah, that’s a safe bet.
