Obama Backs WTC Mosque

The Victory Mosque at Ground Zero is a display of muslim conquest. Anyone who thinks it is anything else is silly.

I am sure the visitors at Ground Zero will enjoy hearing the muslim call to prayer 5 times a day – a prayer which include the exortation to “kill the unbelievers in our midst,” by the way.

Still, since the precendent is set, I can’t wait for the Japanese Cultural Center at Pearl Harbor.

Maybe not for you. A lot of Americans think the government should interfere and prevent this cultural center/mosque from being built. What Mc Cain/Palin would have said or done if they were in the White House is left as a thought exercise.
While polling suggests a majority of Americans oppose plans to build the mosque, a Fox News poll released on Friday suggested 61% supported the developer’s right to build the mosque.

There. It appears the constitution is at issue for 39% of Americans.

While you’re at it, stop by and quench your thirst at the fountain of baby blood.

Items in the gift shop include beheaded replicas of the statue of liberty and “I LOVE 9/11” t-shirts. Get 'em while you can!

Its true, the Joos need Christians babies blood for their unholy rituals.

Did you know that without the blood of Christian babies their newborn cannot even open their eyes?

We should not allow their filthy synagogues in our midst.

Maybe we could have special districts where they could live and leave us alone?

If there is one thing that really amuses me when it comes to some Jews it is that they have not learned shit from history.

Except that it is good to wield the bigger club.

Obama was right, they absolutely have the right and the government shouldn’t prevent them.

However, its wrong for them to build it and obama SHOULD have said so. He has no problem commenting on the “wisdom” of other issues. BUT suddenly if it’s Muslims being intolerant, it’s “no comment”.

Also for everywhere I’ve lived there are all kinds of zoning boards and such that can prevent someone building something for no real reason. How come a town could prevent someone building a Lowes and that isn’t a constitutional issue?

The strangest thing I find about this situation is that Dems (Obama) suddenly care about the constitution.

Just buy the t-shirts AFTER the baby blood. You’d never believe how much baby blood stains. I won’t make that mistake again!

Shock, an attack on Jews by an Austrian. You traded peaceful, productive, Jewish citizens for people that will kill you — because they hate Jewish people as much as you.

Have fun with that.

No, idiots are people who refuse to take seriously statements by people that they intend to kill you in their native language while talking among themselves because they whisper sweet nothings to you in your language.

I do not care what they whisper, they are fucking goat herders and all combined they have the GDP of Spain.

I refuse to be frightened by my own shadow.

They are a nuisance, not a threat.

People like you however are a very real threat, because if the US and Israel turn into third world shitholes it will be because of zealots like you and not because of them.

I agree that the location was ill-advised, and I certainly understand that some might see this a middle finger to Americans by Muslims.

But seriously if a mega-mosque was to be built on private property on the other side of the island, you would still have people declaring it an invasion by Muslims. I mean…either Muslims are free to worship their deity like everybody else or they’re not. This was tested in Switzerland for example, and the popular decision was that all religions are equal but some religions are more equal to others. This controversy has to seen in the same light. With people bombarded by images of evil Muslims from Hollywood and from the embedded reporters in Afghanistan, there’s a shift in morals, and what once appeared as just another community in the melting pot becomes viewed as an existential threat to the Land of the Free.

The American people’s attitude towards this project is appalling and it’s unfortunately doing a marvelous job at fueling the hatred on the other side.

And DD, please keep in mind that Muslims are a tiny minority in the US and this group of people has been heavily stigmatized resulting in a sharp rise in hatred crime towards them. Obama has done the right thing in my opinion. How would it look if he called the the community center “immoral”? Who benefits from that besides fundies on both sides?

It’s a tricky situation. I can’t make up my mind whether this level of hatred out in the open is a good or bad thing. The therapist in me says it’s good. The student of history says it’s bad.

I also find it funny that “conservatives” are coming out saying the gubament should stop people building something on private land for political reasons.

But no, I still think this is a very insensitive step by US Muslims, and I think the pres should have said that. I’m sure that if it was Christians doing something that they new would incite Muslims in a similar way, Obama would be condemning it.

I also am pro- people who want to go out there and protest or voice their opinions in other ways, as that is their right.

Sorry, I couldn’t let this media-myth pass. Actual last-reported statistics on hate crimes from the FBI:

Anti-Black 3,136
Anti-Jewish 1,027
Anti-White 1,008
Anti-Male Homosexual 881
Anti-Hispanic 770
Anti-Female Homosexual 192
Anti-Islamic 191

Just for example, compare anti-White attacks (1008) to anti-Islamic (191). FIVE TIMES the rate. Anti-Jewish (a pitiful small band) get hit with 1027 — primarily from, you guessed it, muslims.

See this is really ironic, because most of the arguments you and me have ever had, I’ve been arguing whether something SHOULD be done and you argue that as the law goes, it can, so that doesn’t matter.

Now in this case, just because the muslim magical space god is mildly different than any of the other magical space god, does not mean they don’t have a right to build what they want on the ground of their choosing.

If (and I do say IF) the money provided to build it is on the up and up, they can build what they want. This is, after all, America, and if a Baptist church was going through this shit you all would have mile long hardons about it.

As an aside, in the event no one has read about it, one individual is planning to build a gay club that caters to Muslim men next door to the mosque, in the name of advancing tolerance.
That makes me exceedingly happy.

Did members of a Baptist Church blow up the Twin Towers? No, no they didn’t, nope, that makes it quite a bit different now doesn’t it?
