Yes, I have thought of that one. Good point. Whoever wins this election will immediately find themselves in deep shit, thanks to the failures of
Bush. It will perhaps be a pyrrhic victory.
I think that the Trip is more to take away some of the Republican’s “ammunition” than necessarily to sway a large number of voters. (Besides giving the campaign some great photo-ops…)

Obama has great instincts and he self-corrects. I think a lot of us are willing to forgive his naivete because he’s wise enough to learn from his mistakes…he only seems to make them once. McCain doesn’t even seem to understand what this race is about.
