Nutrition Guidance from CP

Ok, this is just a funny ass video… and since I eat pretty decent, I find it even funnier, and I expect most of you will too.

Especially since it’s my woman’s studies prof favorite video.

We had an argument in class about how fat people get fat.

Her point was that, since everyones Basic Metabolic Rate is different, I could eat a carrot and a piece of lettuce and she could eat 8 big macs and I would be the one to gain weight(obv exaggerating, but the point is still thus).

Also, she said that it’s ‘not right’ to assume a fat person is lazy(in physical or perhaps all aspects of life) since you’re looking at them through a “medical gaze” which you diagnose a person simply based on their looks.

I see some merit behind such an argument because of someone having some crazy medical
problem, but for 90+% of the population, it comes down to simple factors. If you are somewhat intelligent, you can find decent information, and if you stick with exercise and good food, you lose weight.

She constantly insists that fat people face a great deal of prejudice(which I kind of agree with), but fat people make up a plurality(if not majority) of the population(in the US), so are fat people mean to each other? Also, that being fat is seen by most as being “bad”, when being in shape is simply not a priority for some people.

Now fine, if you don’t want to be in great shape, I have no beef with you, but I certainly respect those who have gone through intensive training a lot more. But, if the draft is reinstated, and my ass has to be pulled back from being shot by you, or I have to help your 50lb overweight ass over a wall, then it becomes MY/OUR problem.

While it may be a little bit extreme of an example, it is not out of the question. If some catastrophe were to occur(e.g. earthquake/tornado) and a huge piece of wood was on me, and I couldn’t move it, and some weakling is off to my side and can’t help me, this also sucks for me.

Anyways, enjoy the video.

Um… Think you linked the wrong video, dude.

I’ve known three women who were XXXL and had medically diagnosed thyroid and other problems, but they STILL ate Burger King, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, KFC and Popeye’s on a regular basis and washed all that shit down with some Big Gulp Cokes and Pepsis. That makes no sense at all. You would think someone who had a medical predisposition to being huge would try to eat even more healthfully than the average person, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. Everytime I ever saw them, they were eating the way other people breathe air. They all weigh between 300 and 400 lbs. now.

Yea, kinda reminds me of some hardcore fitness people like Jamie Eason or others… she was diagnosed with cancer and has a spine problem, so she takes very good care of herself and her diet to keep a healthy body… because it’s very important for her(brings the $$ in w/ it too obv).

Some people don’t get the hint till they have diabetes or a heart attack.

Funny vid, heck yes… my favorite part is…

Serve me that Kit kat Before I gift-wrap a bitchslap I don’t count carbs, I’m counting green backs His face lit up like Rudolph
When I took my sweat suit off
I sat on santa’s lap, they call me nut cracker sweet booty

Even though that land beast disgusts me, that video is hilarious.
