I believe he’s tripolar.
I think he went off to put that barbed wire thing on his leg, like the Opus Dei/Legatus folks do.
Not really…that was part of an email that I posted on this by mistake last night…high as a kite.
Meanwhile an election rally continues in the market today. The DOW will tank friday…BADLY!

Down goes the dollar…told ya so!
The world, at present, is one of basic cooperation. Rates are determined by who needs the most help. If Europe is tanking, rates go down there relative to us, and so forth.
It is only when nations start squabbling and trying to outdo each other in currency devaluation that what you say could possibly happen.
Merrill Lynch, btw, is calling for $1500 gold and $150 oil ($225 over the next coupla years).
A depression only becomes obvious to most when it is well under way. We are in a depression. It’ll probably be inflationary as governments this time are supposed to ‘do something’.
We’ll see $30 oil before we see $225.

Maybe. But then again…
Imagine what will happen to the noble profession of oil speculation if we cross 200 bucks a barrel.
I ask you again, now that the integrity of the dollar has been threatened and the collapse is imminent, what is the ONE safe holding people will flock to.
PRECIOUS METALS. Gold will hit 1500$ an ounce in a few months (maybe even by christmas), and keep climbing for the next many years.

If it gets above $100, that can only mean we have hit the bottom, and global demand is picking up because of a recovering economy.
You can’t have it both ways. Now, either everything is going to crash, and we are all naked and hungry street people, or the economy is going to improve, and global demand for raw materials is going to increase.
You want everyone naked and starving, and $225 oil. It just won’t happen together.
You need to pick one doomsday scenario and stick with it.

If the dollar crashes like you say, $1500/ounce for gold would be pretty cheap.
The collapse of the dollar is not imminent. At least to to people who actually have jobs and do shit besides go to class during the day and get stoned every night.
You never answered my question. Where does a stoned college kid get a “ton” of euros?

If the dollar were to collapse the price of gold in terms of dollars would become irrelevant. The price effectively becomes infinite as the dollar is no longer accepted by any gold exchanges.
The only thing people will be thinking about is Nanna’s jewelry collection and how they are going to exchange it for needed goods.

If that is the case, my advise from post war Austria is, stock up on booze and cigarettes, because they will become your new currency and it helps to have relatives who own a farm.

Why don’t you wait until just one of your stoned college kid prophecies come true before you start predicting another one?
I am really growing sick of your bullshit.

look both ways before crossing the street
One look at the futures will answer your question.
Lets look at the prophecies that DID come true so far:
Lets look at the ones that WILL come true.
