Because the weak cowardly assholes who favor this kind of big government anti American ideology usually are putting somebody else’s money in their pockets through it’s mechanisms of legalized robbery and this guy is no exception or he would just say so.

How in the hell is saving the american economy anti-american? That doesn’t make any sense.

P.S. This dude is off his rocker.

Eat shit punk, you’re a destroyer. Your politicians are destroyers. You leave a wake of social and economic wreckage everywhere you’ve been allowed to plague anybody with your presence. The high set of noble principles that made this nation the greatest in human history are entirely lost on worms like you.

You’re a pathetic half conscious pull string toy for the power grubbing scum you so gleefully surrender your will to. You’re sickening. Take your collectivist disease and wallow in it while you can. The last laugh will most assuredly be on you though you’ll likely stand there with a vacuous smirk on your face chanting “yes we can”.
Wait, last I checked we’re fixing a problem created by your party. You destroyed then voted for the destroyers. I voted to fix it and we’re fixing it. You seem to be clueless as to how big of a mess we actually have to fix.

In fact you seem to be just totally clueless, period.

No senator/congressman/president reads a bill word for word. This whole premise is just silly. The bills are so full of legalese, and references to other legislation, asterisks, and footnotes, that it’d be darn near impossible for the dolts that rule us to go through them line by line.

That’s exactly the point.

If you accept this, then you’re a bigger fool than I originally expected. Any citizen should be outraged that their rights are so often signed away by congressional lemmings and hacks who have no idea of the impact of their votes.

Oh, how far we have fallen from the Founders-- who based their fortunes and their honor on.every.word.of.legislation.

I can’t believe how many people worship on the altar of big government and their party’s faithful.
These boards are getting wacky.

It’s easy enough to see that even bills back then would have been full of the same legalese that would’ve made them difficult to digest. That’s what staffs and committees are for apparently.
I mean I think you’re just making stuff up here if you really think that not reading legislation word for word is a contemporary concept.

OK, it all makes sense now-- you’ve never read any history.

I would suggest that you go to that little building in your town that your tax dollars pay for called the “Library”, or better yet, Mr. Stimulus, go lay down some cash at that other place called the “Bookstore” and visit the “History Section”.

They have lots of “books” about this thing called “The American Revolution”. It’s about a bunch of people who overthrew a tyranical “government” and created their own. Oh, how far Massachussetts, the cradle of Freedom, has fallen…

I know this may sound foreign and ‘wacky’ to you given that you apparently accept, nay, worship at the altar of modern big government, but those folks abhorred the thought of expanded government and actually respected this thing called “The Constitution”.

No my friend, “staffs and committees” as they exist today are a modern concept. Back in the day, Congress labored over every word of their bills and they read and understood every single word for fear that they would infringe the restrictions and spirit of The Constitution (don’t worry, you’ll learn about what that “C-word” thing is some day).

You really drain the energy right out of a guy.

Everybody should go online and search what the big spendulus package is doing in their city/state. I just read up on my city. High priority is planting 14,000 street trees to offset global warming. All for a mere $9,000,000. Claims to create 12 jobs!!! I don’t recall seeing any American landscapers planting trees lately, but what the hell 12 jobs for only $9,000,000 what a deal. And all those trees to save the planet!!!

Wow, more silly retoric. Please detail the problem, which party is responsible, and why. I don’t expect a reply to this, but what the hell.

We also have yet to see any explaination from you on what the problem is and how exactly we are fixing it. Just your stadard weak minded talking points.

what do you mean by contemporary? That no politicians ever read bills effecting the lives of their constituents?

Let’s say it been common practice for the last 50 years. Does that mean we should be fine with it?

I asked you a pretty simple question. I see you are choosing not to answer. I figured this would be the case.

Let me dumb this down a bit for you since you are confused. I am asking these questions because I suspect you have absolutely no idea how or why any stimulus would or wouldn’t work. I suspect you can’t even define specific objectives or desired results of the stimulus. We can probably expect some statement along the lines of “fix the economy” or other such brilliance.

I suspect that you have no clue how the market ended up the way it did. If you would like to have a conversation about this, I would be happy to hand you your ass. If not, then keep posting weak minded talking points with no reason or logic attached.

I think we all know which route you will choose.

Way to add insight. Your brilliance is blinding.

Now that we’ve established that you’re a partisan hack with no sense of history, sure we can get back to stimulus.

Here’s an article from that right-wing, free-market rag Investor’s Business Daily-- not that they have an interest in a strong economy or strong markets…

Is It Any Wonder The Market Continues To Sink?

Last Oct. 13, in trying to explain why the market had sold off 30% in six weeks, we acknowledged that the freeze-up of the financial system was a big concern. But we cited three other factors as well:

The imminent election of “the most anti-capitalist politician ever nominated by a major party.”

The possibility of “a filibuster-proof Congress led by politicians who are almost as liberal.”

A “media establishment dedicated to the implementation of a liberal agenda, and the smothering of dissent wherever it arises.”

No wonder, we said then, that panic had set in.

Today, as the market continues to sell off and we plumb 12-year lows, we wish we had a different explanation. But it still looks, as we said four months ago, “like the U.S., which built the mightiest, most prosperous economy the world has ever known, is about to turn its back on the free-enterprise system that made it all possible.”

A stimulus bill laden with huge amounts of spending on pork and special interests is the best our Congress can come up with to get the economy back on track. Economists broadly agree that the legislation has little stimulative power, and in fact will be a drag on economic growth for years to come.

You’re wastin yer time. These guys are utterly immune to any history or evidence that might inhibit their ability to sacrifice their liberty on the altar of their bureaucratic heroes. We really need to just burn the constitution already and be done with the charade. All those
congress shall nots
, indeed the entire
congress shall not
mindset that defined our founders has clearly lost any meaning.

This shit has nothing to do with saving the economy. It’s classic textbook power mongering. Khrushchev is holding his stomach with tears of hilarity running down his cheeks.
I knew it HAHAHAHA!!! No he is not, neither am I and our numbers are growing.

Interestingly enough you rely on us to finance your pet projects.

Fascinating, is it not?

Here you go. Don’t spend it all in one place.

IRS Issues New Withholding Tables: $10 Extra Pay Per Week to Start April 1

The IRS on Saturday announced that it has issued new withholding tables to implement the Making Work Pay Tax Credit of 6.2% of earned income, up to $400 for single taxpayers and $800 for married couples. Employers must start using these tables by April 1, but may do so earlier. As Kay Bell notes, this works out to an extra $10 per week in take-home pay for most taxpayers. Higher income taxpayers will not see an increase in their take-home pay, as the credit phases outb at $75,000 - $95,000 for single taxpayers and $150,000 - $190,000 for married couples.

Under these guidelines, I will not get shit. Higher Income and California state taxes for sure.

I will be parting ways with more money under Obama, and it will be spent on others who default on their bills while I pay mine.

Liberals must be spewing in their pant’s by now. The age of redistribution and higher taxes is here.
