Comments: Missing 420 on 4/20 (lol it’s seriously what the program called for) really surprised me. 395 wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. It seems to me just like an off week since nothing I did on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday morning would affect my pulling.
Also just getting back into single leg work again, my balance is horrible. Hopefully this will reap some benefits.

Record PT test and FTX coming up so no session this Friday or weekend.
PT Test went pretty meh, max on push-ups, 62 sit-ups, around 15 minutes on the run. At least the run is steadily going down with intervals and rucks but I actually dropped a few sit-ups for whatever reason. 62 is only a 79 or so out of 100 possible points on that event which is weak shit.
FTX was demanding but good training. Land Navigation went well, STX and Patrolling were smokers, and FLRC as always was cake. Luckily we only had about 30 minutes of rain the whole 4 days. Very sore and beat up from the whole ordeal, when I finally took a shower back in the dorm I noticed that I had at least 15 new bruises with no idea where they came from.

Squats felt great today and could have pushed them much more, but I’m terminating the sets when I feel like I’m resorting too much to the Squat Morning. I know I’d be a lot stronger now if I’d continued with the form I’d been using on my 335x1 and 275x10 videos, but it would be even fuglier now and I don’t know what kind of injury I’d be setting myself up for. I’d rather take the long way round.

Scouted out Cayuga State Park for a new place to do hill sprints. Compared to Ithaca, Waterloo/Seneca Falls is flat as Kansas. Might have found a good one up a trail about 250m long, but the incline isn’t as much as I’d like. Gave it a couple runs and it might work.
I have to say that I’m really pissed off at the cuts Patterson has made to the state park system. I was wading through knee high grass in places and only saw two people the entire time I was at the park. I know it’s still before Memorial Day, but goddamn.

I’ve had the 12"s for a while but they’re not really long enough for anything. I think 18-20" is the perfect range for a training wrap.
As for the Ring Dip/Fat Grip Chin superset… well damn it. I would like to work up to 10+ reps on each set of each but it may be a while. Oly Rings feel like Crazybell Benching for dips, except worse because you’re supporting yourself on them.
Alright, now I’ve gotta watch my DVR of Lost. I think I gave up hope on the show a long time ago, but with 5 seasons invested and 2 episodes left I’m not about to give up now…
