Good times. Like peanut butter in shag carpeting.

My sad attempt.

I was just discussing that with my wife the other night. I’ve had this goatee for years, but I told her I wanted to grow a full beard and that it would look rugged-cool with my long hair. She said “Ew, you’ll look like a mountain man!” And I said “yeeaaahhh, baby!!”

I’ll post a pic in a few weeks… if I can stand the fuzz.

Makes me so sad the army keeps my manliness down. I was thinking about growing a stash but I look really bad with one.

Don’t do it. Few can pull it off…

Nothing screams bad 80’s Pornstar like a dude with a mustache.

Just get ready for Moustache March!
Why do you think all women dislike beards? Maybe if you have like a gross neckbeard or something, but I see no reason to dislike some respectable facial hair.

Yeah, I should have elaborated. I am a neckbeard guy, so… not going with no-shave, haha.

I have been growing my beard out for 6 weeks now without trimming it, only shaving my neck. I shaved my head too because the beard looked stupid when I had hair. It’s much better now that I have more hair on my face than I do on my dome.

My gf asks me to shave every day. She hates it.

Perhaps I will participate in this no-shave November. I’ll post pics. :stuck_out_tongue:

I demand that my husband keep a goatee. I hate stubble, even light stubble. It hurts. He’s done the full beard before, but he is fair haired and the beard looks patchy and weird.

oh… you are a brave woman… it’s terrible when the legs get hairy and feel like you’ve got on wool leg warmers

With me, it’s not just the legs.
And don’t worry, I won’t post pics.

Ahhh…you must be Russian, too!

I would love to grow some facial hair but my work is very strict on those policies. Basically all i can have is sideburns to my earlobes or a mustache.

Typically when i go on vacation i just don’t shave at all, it’s great. Although it does get itchy like hell.

I’m actually doing Movember.

The “My Total” thing on that site isn’t updated. I’ve actually raised at least $100, so that’s cool.

And I’m sticking to the “official rules” - clean shaven on November 1st, then grow out the 'stache. No beards or goatees allowed.

Family Guy: H-HO Meg, she torched your ass man! She torched your ass.

Close Makavali, but great quote/show.

We have a rule with our weightlifting club that says: “If a man weighs over 200lbs, he shall wear a beard.”

I’m 195, so I’m close…but not quite.

Beards are underrated. A well groomed beard is very handsome if the man wears it well. My husband is fair haired, but his beard is golden brown, and it looks fantastic. Plus he shaves his head so it’s a kinda badass look.
