Solid looking meal.
Grilled it outdoors. It was a lb plus ribeye I get from a local store, Star Supermarket, been around for decades, still ahs wood floors. still has butchers and cuts they way you want. Cucumbers in Rice Vinegar and a tab of salt, tomatoes w/lots of pepper, fresh green beans with garlic and onions. Washed it all down with a bottle of water.
That sounds like a cool place to shop.
Ribeye is my favorite.
Yesterday - swimming, indoor - 40 minutes. Freestyle up the lane, breaststroke back.

Spend most of the day running a bush hog and a backhoe with a nephew and clearing a few acres he just bought. Butts up against his Dadās land, my number 3 brother. My wife and his brought us out sandwiches for lunch. Donāt usually use sugar in my ice tea but his wife makes the most delicious sweet tea there is. After dinner got in a 1.5 mile run.

Lot more direct tri work than I usually do. Still on a quest for just what the hell I want to do. Never really been where I wasnāt preparing for some form of competition. Been asked to officiate several karate tournaments but that doesāt require training. Shuffleboard and Pickleball. I hear old people love those.

Bench is going up but not the way I like them. Shakey and even a little bounce at the bottom anmy ass coming off the bench which Iāve never done. Think Iām going to regroup, lower the weights and rep out for a while before adding poundage again.
Indoor swim today for 50 minutes. Showing up already in suit so not wasting time changing.

Handed out candy from the drive way. Had beer, coffee, or soda for the adults walking their kids. Couple of brothers and nephews showed up and we ended up with us and several of the fathers drinking beer, Jack, and Wild Turkey. We all agreed butterfingers washed down with Jack is the drink craze of the future. I held back a lot of ādefectiveā gummi bearen for later analysis. Got āThemā on the tele right now with āThe Thingā (original version) lined up after it. A good night.
