Thats good you missed the storm and were even able to get back in time.
We got pummeled down here…people still without power as well!
You mentioned fatigue and indigestion. Has anyone ever mentioned doing an elimination diet??
I know how frustrating health issues can be.
Yeah, I’ve thought of doing an elimination diet… but, my dad and grandpa both had GI issues so I think it’s some sort of hereditary thing. Also, my doc has me pooping in a bunch of cups along with my latest bloodwork so that should turn up something (after-the-fact TMI alert).
Where in MD do you live? Hard to believe some people still don’t have power.

That midget story is awesome hahahH
The funny thing was, she wasn’t a “midget” in how you’d think of one… she was the smallest normally-proportioned girl I’ve ever seen.
She was also weird as shit. On top of that series of text messages, when we were at the bar initially, she told me no less than 4 times she was leaving and to call her later… then she would go somewhere else (usually to the dance floor with her friend, then dancing with a couple dudes for 10 minutes) then come back and say “Hi” like nothing happened and try to make out with me.
Not ever going above 3 reps doesn’t condition you for this shit. I planned to go for 10 on my top set of DLs and was doing them with no rest in between, and quickly turned deadlifting into a cardiovascular exercise. Lesson learned on high-rep deads…
(warmup) Squat, deload percentages
100 x 5
125 x 5
150 x 5
A) Deadlift
155 x 5
195 x 5
235 x 3
-working sets-
255 x 5
295 x 5
315 x 8, totally gassed, had 1 or 2 more in the muscles
B) GHR
bw x 9, 8, 8
C) Leg Extension
170 x 10
160 x 10
D1) Hammer DB Curls
40 x 8, 7, 7, 9 (ugly)
D2) Situps
bw x 10, 9, 6
Today was the first time I’ve ever not actively walked up the escalator at my subway stop (pic on page 4 I think)… legs were just too empty. Rode it like a lazy fat guy.
And my slump is ending tonight. I’m picking up a slumpbuster and giving her the most unsatisfying 30 seconds of her life. It’s happening.
Funny story, I was gonna do it yesterday but ended up spending all day moving in a new roomie and cleaning… I actually thought to myself “WF is gonna be pissed”.
Tonight it’s thunderstorming all night, and I don’t have access to indoor courts. Off from gym tomorrow, if I don’t have to drive to goodwill I might do it then.

Howd the slump busting go?
Funny story, I was about to go home with this extremely unattractive girl, when this cute girl from down the street texted me to hang out… so I peaced out and met her at another bar, had 1 drink and walked her home. The classic last minute upgrade.

Happy birthday dude.
Hahaha I know you doubt me, but I WILL get a vid up here. And depending on my success level I’ll spam your log when I do.
Fuck I hate off days. Taking the opportunity to post some end of year goals
Bench: 315x1 - think I got this
DL: 500x1 - might be a tough one to pull off
Squat: 315 for reps - think I got this, squat going up quickly now that I can do it pain free
OHP: 200x3
Bodyweight: 235lbs
Of those goals I think DL is the toughest… I’ll need to put 70lbs on my max. Will use a belt on max attempts from here on though, maybe it’ll add a pound or two by accident.
