No More DP?

Where’d it go?

They don’t love us anymore.

The Pound was removed because:

  1. It just wasn’t working out the way we’d hoped. It would go days sometimes with no new posts. The Pound was begun about the same time as the PM system, which kind of cancelled out the Pound to some degree as the vets just talked by PM.

  2. The T-staff did not like having to read “applications” and reject people just because we didn’t know them well. It really turned off non-Pound members because they were excluded.

  3. New posters to the forum would often try to post in the Pound, couldn’t, and assumed the whole forum was like that. So they left thinking you had to be a member to post anywhere on the forum.

Note: Some threads and training logs from the Pound were moved into the regular forums so they would not be lost.

Mods were getting tired of mopping the drool off of the floor and taking you’ll out to pee every night.

Good reasoning.

Ah, so then the “veil” of PM can now be used rather than posting anything on the Pound.

Er…rather the Pound that’s no longer. Ah, “Que Sera, Sera”. (movie trivia: THIS song was featured in what movie? It also won the Academy Award that year as Best Song. And who sung it?)

It was nice of you to advise the members via PM or email… NOT!

I think it was because I just decided to try to join the puppy mill. They apparently thought, “Oh shit, there goes the neighborhood.”

We were all cliquie internet eltist geeks. Especially Goldberg.

Alfred Hitchcocks ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’ not sure who sang it.

The singer was Doris Day, and it was also heavily featured in the movie Heathers.

Okay, you guys that answered the question are fags. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Actually, I’m impressed.

NOT impressed with how the whole DP getting wiped off the face of the earth was dealt, but impressed that some know who sang that song and where that song was featured.

I certainly hope Cy’s interesting thread is SOMEWHERE, as well as Jason’s Super Beast. I guess now we have to DIG for them?

T-mag Admin, could you please see fit to resurrecting Jason N’s “Super Beast thread?” I truly looked forward to seeing the daily entries!

This thread has been inspiring and informative; lots of great ideas!!!

Thanks, Joey Z.

That’s a great Jimmy Stewart movie, Jared…and Doris Day’s Edith Head wardrobe was to DIE for.

Wait…did I just say that last part out loud?

RIP DP. Not every good idea executes well.

But I don’t feel special anymore. Hey at least I feel fresh.

Joey - We did move that thread into T/N and PM’ed the author. He just needs to find it and bump it up.

If there are any more threads you’d like to see moved, just let us know. Many were moved, but they are probably several pages back in T/N.

T-mag Admin, Thanks!

No no no. It was Ned Flanders, in the Simpsons episode with the meteorite! hahaha J.K.
