Low T for years,low/no libido for years(docs said depression),I first tried testogel(5g)6 years ago,for about 2 to 3 weeks it was great,I wanted sex often, then the desire went away until it went to nothing.
I am now 50,no desire for sex, normal build except for very large belly.Endo sees me about once a year(if I am lucky),E2 was high but never treated.I am now on 10g a day of testogel, feel crap,no energy,no desire. Is belly fat a big problem in all this?Do endos in the UK ever give out arimidex?
Your response to transdermal T is not unusual, happens quite often. But then we do not see guys who do very well having a motive to find this forum.
Do you have your lab results? Always get and retain your labs. Some do not absorb transdermals. Injections may create less estrogens than transdermals. Injections always deliver the dose. Yes, estrogens can be a major problem, but we need to know your T levels and ranges as well.
What has happened to your testicles?
Do you have any thyroid problems? Any tests for TSH, T3, fT3, rT3, T4, tF4
Are you using iodized salt and eat seafood?
Do you get cold easily?
Liver problems?
Other illnesses?
Any problems with fasting serum glucose?
Any diabetes in the family?
We often see that endo’s are brilliantly unable do things right.
Take action, read the stickies and find a new doc. At least you have the option to self medicate there to some extent.
What part of the UK are you in? -Someone there might be of assistance.
