I have been watching this show on G4 a lot and it is pretty cool, anyone else seen it?

It has some fairly impressive displays of athleticism on it. I’m at a bit of a loss as to why they always make the course even harder, when barely anyone aside from the veterans can clear the first two stages, and the veterans devote a lot of their free time and energy to training specifically for it. The fourth stage has only been successfully completed one or two times.
I understand not wanting a watered down obstacle course so that even those who aren’t in excellent shape can complete it, but the added difficulty seems unwarranted sometimes. They should focus more on tweaking the various obstacles rather than scrapping some and adding new ones.
That being said, it’s still fairly fun to watch.
Yes. It’s one of my favorite TV shows ever and at one point I hero-worshipped Akiyama and Nagano and wanted to be them. Then I realized that they’re both less than 5’6" and 150 lbs and it just didn’t seem as cool. I wouldn’t hesitate to say that I’ve watched every episode in the three years that I’ve had access to expanded cable and I still tune in whenever I see it on. I really like how seriously G4 is taking it.
I love the commentators on the show, god I can die when I watch it its so funny!

Yeah a couple. Last year G4 had a contest to send a couple americans over and one of the guys made it the furthest of anyone.
Yeah, and also I just saw a commercial stating that there will be an American Ninja Warrior that comes on starting in December.
I like that show. It sucks that pretty much every episode now is a re run but I get excited when new episodes are on. I really would like to compete in ninja warrior. I almost drove up to LA for the open ANW try outs last time but had a birthday party I had to go to. It would be so much fun
