In the past, posters have brought their pet projects into every thread, to the point that every thread devolved into that subject - gun control, abortion, Christianity or hatred of.
Now it’s hatred of Trump or scolding his supporters.

Some threads will “naturally” include certain subjects.
Someone who is a former U.N. Ambassador under a certain President…who is NOW considering a run for President, is bound to have references to that President.

This is like Pat complaining about people talking about Trump in the Hong Kong thread. He was by necessity a big topic of discussion. It would be like saying let’s discuss the current us foreign policy but please don’t talk about the President. It’s essential to the discussion.
If you’re talking about her running as the GOP candidate in 2020 and her chances of winning the nomination and presidency you pretty much have to talk about the current president. That’s why usmc brought it up at the very start of the thread.
