ok let me explain a bit further my point
first of all, when i started having the whole teenager wondering about the world life etc, i realized at some point what a lot of philosophers say. that i didnt know anything. fast forwarding, now i dont just believe that God exists, i know. no i dont have proof to show you, what most people would consider proof, Jesus Himself told people when He did miracles for them NOT to tell anyone about them.
anyway, there is a small difference in being certain that God exists and that God doesnt exist.
if God does exist, cant He make people know that He does? of course He can. i believe thats the case with me.
if He doesnt exist, then obviously im stupid to be certain that He does exist.
now the difference is that
if God doesnt exist, then its just yourself and your mind that have convinced yourself that He doesnt.
the same applies in the case that He does exist, unless for some reason He made you believe He doesnt exist, which i doubt but anyway.
now dont get me wrong, im sure that one can be certain that God exists cause they have convinced themselves using their mind, BUT its also possible that if God does exist that He lets us know in some way that we cant understand.
thats the difference, believing that He does NOT exist doesnt have something… “allpowerful” to confirm that you are right.

Sorry man, but once again your logic is flawed. What you are doing is assuming that your religious belief implies morality or “rightness”. It does not. Not-believing in idea A is no more or less right than Believing in idea A (as long as A is an agreed upon religion or philosophy. I am happy for you that you have found religion and it makes you happy. I think religion is great for some people. But don’t you dare look down your nose at someone else because they don’t have “Divine Right” on their side. Christianity has tried that many times (certain sects anyway) and none have turned out very good. See: The Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, witch hunts, KKK lynch rallies, etc. Of course it’s easy to recognize when other people do that that it’s wrong (aka modern jihad movement). It’s only one step further to put the torch to an ideal.
To put things in perspective, how many thousands of different religions and belief structures have existed since the dawn of man? Even though you have the answer, how can you possibly know that your god is the right God, when so many people have believed differently than you? You just know right? It is the same way for non-believers. I just know that there isn’t.
In closing: non-believers do have something arguably “all-powerful” on their side. We call it “science” and it is the source of most of the good things in today’s civilization (modern medicine, advanced agriculture, vaccinations …).
