Learning Experience
Overall an awful session. I have determined This type of intensity block isnt right for me. I think the middle day was too heavy and that coupled with the fatigue from the initial skills evaluation made today bad. I also try to beat all my numbers from the first skills evaluation but that wasnt the smartest idea. Next time I will either have one skills evaluation and more light days or that middle day will be much lighter. I will probably try the former and see how it feels. I am also going to add in some singles at 90% somewhere in the volume block. ok here it is.

Are you running any certain sheiko program or is it just sheiko esk
im not actually running sheiko at the moment, I am running 5x5 advanced. I just want to feel it out but I may switch back to sheiko new week. When I do run sheiko I have been running cms/ms. If I go back I might drop the second deadlift day but im not sure yet. I go by feel alot and add weight here and do rep outs and such based on how a session is going.

It’s weird how many of the top 198s didn’t show up. Scolaro would have ran away with it. Even Anthony Parella would have had a shot at repeating. I thought Ian Bell was going to be much higher in total.

currently i live in Gainesville but I am moving down to Davie for school. I am going to FIU this fall.

agreed man I expected the winning total to be alot higher and I expected Bell to total well above 1600. His raw squat and dead werent as high as I expected.
Solid. That’s about 40min away from where I’ll be located. If you ever want to meet up and train, shoot me a pm. It’s tough finding people with the powerlifting mindset. I plan on competing too one day. Im just currently grinding away though.
