NHL Playoffs

Hockeytown baby!!!

Back to back son.

I’m gonna pull for Detroit. Crosby is still the top douchebag in the NHL and the Stanley Cup will be forever tarnished in my mind if he touches it.

Hmmmm, do I detect a Flyers fan? =]

We need to get our guys healthy though. Lidstrom will start game 1, but Datsyuk is gametime which means even if he plays he may not be 100%. Actually Lidstrom may not be 100% either, but his efficiency factor can allow him to play hurt and still be good. Draper is one of the best faceoff men in the league, but he’s not ready.

Definitely GO DETROIT!!!

It`s gonna be one hell of a series

How the are Red Wings good every year? Every year they are fucking good…unbelievable…not sure if I like that or not but you gotta hand it to them. Gonna be fun to watch.

Management, a great farm club and not rushing players in before they are ready. Managment like Ken Hoilland continually pull moves like signing unknowns that later flourish. Datsuyk and Zetterberg were both drafted late.

Yes…I am curious as to the answer which will be provided here.

I suspect it will be rich in douchebaggery

I’m sure he’s a good kid, but the NHL promotion of him as the second coming is certainly douchey. You’d think he was the only talented guy in the NHL.

I love my Red Wings.

So what, you won at home. You did what you’re supposed to.

It’s not over yet…

Don’t forget, that was on consecutive days. Let’s see how they do now with a days rest. :stuck_out_tongue:

The only team I could ever count on when I lived in Michigan… Go wings !!!

That extra day just means all of your guys are another day older.

Here’s to a seven gamer!

But seriously, it looks like Detroit plays with about ten guys on the ice. They’re just everywhere.

The Pens seem to be able to crack the defense for a few minutes here and there, but then it’s back to being stifled.

Gotta find a way to keep it in the offensive zone for more than just one shot.

Pens are outclassed and outmatched. Last year they were inexperienced and young. This year they are inexperienced and young. The only thing that’s changed is that Hossa is playing for the bad guys now.

If we win Tuesday, we have a chance. If not, forget it.

Go Wings!

I am quickly losing my respect for the NHL. I realize that Crosby is the golden child, but get off his nut sack already.

Secondly, I don’t have a problem with the Wings losing, that’s the breaks, it’s how they lost. The ref’s put their whistles away (25 seconds of too many men? Crosscheck to Franzens head.) until a very shakey call near the end of the period with the game tied.

I’m just sayin.
