I am quickly losing my respect for the NHL. I realize that Crosby is the golden child, but get off his nut sack already.
Secondly, I don’t have a problem with the Wings losing, that’s the breaks, it’s how they lost. The ref’s put their whistles away (25 seconds of too many men? Crosscheck to Franzens head.) until a very shakey call near the end of the period with the game tied.
I’m just sayin.
And Zetterberg covering up the puck on Osgood’s back should have been a penalty shot in Game 1.
We can all pick and choose when to complain, but things have been missed on both sides, and it’ll likely continue to be that way.

I agree 100%. Ones who won that game were the ref’s.

I hate when people talk about refs in sports, they are there trying to make the game better and keep it as even as possible. Yeah the pens caught a few breaks, but like it’s been said before so did the Wings when Zetterberg covered the puck with his hand, in the end the hockey gods even out the calls and it truly is the best team who wins, if you think you had bad calls in the finals go talk to Buffalo how they feel about the Hull goal, if you like whining about refs go watch some soccer and have a blast!

Just gotta play.
While I agree with just letting them play, if you are going to put the whistle away, keep it put away. Don’t pull it out at the end of the game with the game on the line.
The Pens played an great game. Malkin was a machine, the Malkin/Crosby 2 on 1 was classic and goal 4 was just incredible. Those 6 minutes in the 2nd period were all it took.
Wings didn’t skate Saturday morning, will be well-rested.
“Detroitâ??s head coach Mike Babcock has noticed this and will not have them do a morning skate on Saturday. Will that keep their legs fresh? Who knows, but itâ??s a start. And there is the added benefit of knowing Pavel Datsyuk is confirmed to get ice time in Game 5â?¦of course, he also proclaimed he was playing on Thursday night.”

On a somewhat related note, I work as a bike courier and dropped an envelope at the Bell Center addressed to Bob Gainey last week.
It took a lot of effort not to write “You fucking TWAT” on the envelope <grinnin`>
Do you have his address so we can all have fun with it?
