We’ll just wait and see what happens.
It’s a big shame them hardcore Philly sports fans could only cheer the Eagles on to such a poor home record last season.

I’ve been downstairs training with the game on thinking how Montreal was really earning a win here and one lapse and 3 - 2. OOPS, I take it back, 2 lapses and tie game this very second.
Montreal had a 2 goal cushion and Philly by the throat as far as controlling play and has now politely apologized and handed the game away.
The Habs are not going away just yet.
Montreal needs a half a second more thought when clearing their zone.

Too bad it often goes past just being passionate about their team (regardless of city, Philly is not special). I’ve seen Buffalo fans (my city) throw full beer cans at a father’s head because he was wearing a Jets jersey while he was walking with his young kid (couldn’t have been more than 8 years old).
As for our hockey fans, I haven’t seen anything go past the yelling/screaming at them, but that of course doesn’t mean it never happens. And yes, I am jealous because this year the Sabres fucking sucked and the Flyers were much better than my home town hockey team.
So yea, all I have to say is 6-4 win, my Flyers answered to montreal’s best playing so far, and a 4 game to 1 series victory over the #1 ranked team. No matter what you say, you cannot deny the fact that the Flyers are a good team. Pens, here we come.
The Rangers were doing pretty good, but are collapsing now.
Tied it up and they’ve got the Penguins ion their heels
NYR just killed off a long penalty in sudden death.
Pittsburgh wins.
I now officially want to play the Penguins in the finals if we get there.

Scared of the flyers? Because I’m pretty confident that the Flyers are a better team then the Penguins, and can beat them. I won’t lie though, I’m scared shitless of playing the Wings in the Cup if it happens.

It pays to be dutifully apprehensive about any team that makes it as far as you do in the playoffs. I don’t know. Pittsburgh just irritates me. Not that I hate the team or even any of the players. I don’t know what it is exactly, I just think it would be sweet to beat them in the finals. Already did Philly =], but that would be sweet too.
IF the Wings can keep a grip on their mental game I don’t think any team can win a 7 game series with us. I’d be saying that as a fan of any other team. That is a very big if though and we have melted down when it counted in recent history.
East starts Wed. and West on Thurs.
BTW, watched all 7 periods of the SJ/Dallas game last night. I really thought the Sharks were going to pull it off.
WCF game 1
2 nuthin wings!!!
4 - 1, we take game one.
Penns v. Flyers underway, and I’m watching it on a 61" HD screen.
Yippee!
Philadelphia just had the positioning meltdown of the century with the man advantage and handed Malkin a casual stroll to the net.
4 on 1 defended by Detroit, they take it back and open up the scoring. Crazy
1 - 0

I’m not real comfortable right now. It feels like Dallas is right on the edge of tipping play in their favor this whole time.
Strong finish to the second, but still a one goal game
