Avery is not making it out of the hospital for a while. He has a lacerated spleen and was rushed to the hospital last night in apparent cardiac arrest.
The Pens will lose a game and series this post season if they are unfortunate enough to play us in the finals. Or if not actually. I have liked Crosby, but the hype has gotten the best of me and he does dive like an olympian, there is no denying it and I lost a lot of respect for him because of that. It’s disappointing because I think overall he’s a character guy.
The Penguins are in for a rude awakening when they finally face a team that wants to win. The Rangers have plenty of experience and talent, but they have not showed up for this series.
Latest word is that Avery did not have a heart problem as previously reported, but is out for the year with the spleen issue.

That really sucks. I would have preferred to see him get mauled for another game or two. And I never cheer when a player gets injured, no matter how much I hate them.
Montreal just proved that somebody can have even worse 2 minute man advantage than one of ours last night and then they let Philly score a few seconds after they’re back to full strength. I’m pullin for em this game too.

Once again I don’t really care who wins the series, I just want everybody’s but ours to go as long as possible.
It’s a bit much to be resorting to violence over a game as much as I love hockey. hell even AVS fans could show up at the Joe at the height of the rivalry without fearing for their safety. They may have wound up wishing they hadn’t, but even in Detroit nobody got hurt.

It just threw me off because it says you’re in Mexico and Philly would be a hike. Wasn’t trying to give you a hard time.
I promise if we wound up playing the Flyers in the finals there WILL be Wings jerseys in your building.
Unless something untoward happens the Penguins are about to let the Rangers back in this series. I don’t really hate any team, but Pittsburgh gets on my nerves this year. They do have the man advantage now though with 3 and a half left.
