NHL Playoffs

The Red Wings are murdering Colorado 4 - zip, but we still have the third. Theodore pulled 2 in a row now.

I hope we decide that we still have to play the third and not go on a 20 minute PK like we have a tendency to do.

Yeah Red Wings! Up 2 games to zip now!

5 - 1 final and we go to Denver with 2 - 0 series lead, but still no Forsberg or Wolski for Colorado thus far. I feel good about our prospects for going to the conference finals, but I’ve seen enough to not start counting chickens just yet.

Did Biotest send Johann Franzen some Spike or what? That guy has come on like a freight train since the beginning of March.

If Biotest didn’t send the entire team a case of Spike, they should.

I was expecting a lot more brawls between the Wings and Avs, given their previous history.

The play off games make me so nervous I can’t even sit down to watch, and I end up pacing the room…even with a 4 goal lead.

Laurie, could you get Biotest to send some Spike and Surge Workout Fuel to the Montreal Canadiens? I’ll pay for shipping!

4-2. Ouch.

I hate the fact that everyone is a flyers hater. Seriously, they have some great talent on their team, and if wasn’t for the lockout, I think they would have went to the cup that year. I’m sorry, but give some damn respect where it is due. They are playing their balls off and are being the better team. Fuck luck shit, and the likes.

Heck no! I’m not helping anyone but my Wings.

YEAH, you tell em!!!

We’ll see after tonight with Forsberg and Hannan back in Colorado’s building. If they don’t do us proud I may have to fork for shipping for the whole team, but shouldn’t be too bad, the Springs are right down the road, alright a ways, but you get my point. Ryan Smith is hurt now for the Avs if you didn’t hear.

Pittsburgh needs to be stopped and the Sharks are sunk.

We lead 2 - 1 after the first, but Colorado looks better in this game despite being widely out shot again.

3 - 1, Datsyuk

Avs within 1. Mod Laurie probably has her running shoes on about now for all that pacing.

CLANG!!!, They’re KILLIN ME!!!

I can’t take it!!!

AAAAAHHHHH!!! Thank you God. We win!!! Up 3 zip in the series.

I wore a path in the carpet tonight pacing back and forth…but it was worth it. Denver must be worried now about a sweep, especially after their Nuggets were swept last night.

Tiribulus, at what point did you feel you could breathe tonight? For it me it wasn’t till that final buzzer. I LOVE all sports but hockey just makes me so nervous with the lightning fast action.

Unless the Wings take the night off, this series is over. The Av’s will be at home, but they will probably be without Stastny (their leading scorer) Smyth and Wolski.

I hope the Wings do not screw up and let them back into this series.

In a one goal game my glutes are clenched until the buzzer sounds and I’m counting down the seconds out loud. Any damn thing can happen and I can’t breathe until it’s over.

Pshht, try having your team be up 3-0 against the #1 ranked team and get a 5 min major on a sketchy boarding call which ends up taking out one of your key Defensivemen. Then, having 2 goals scored on you with PLENTY of time left for them to tie it up, even with full strength. Talk about ass clenching, tounge biting nervousness. NOT cool, but that’s what makes hockey so exciting and fun to watch.
