Spooky, for mine it said I have a 6x higher chance for having MS and 3x for having blue eyes. My mom had MS and both of us have blue eyes.
Take aways from my visit with my Endo yesterday:
- Regarding a TT of 996, āIts still quite high and we need to work on getting that down. Drop your dose by 5 mgā.
- Regarding my severely minimized ejaculate. āTRT CAN lower sperm count soā¦ā

The level of knowledge of these drs should mean revoke their license. Hate to say this but someone would be lucky to find a Dr who actually cares and is knowledgeable. And this applies to all drs
The huge amount of reading I am doing is actually required to get proper care for yourself.
Have any of you guys experienced swelling in your hands? Ive noticed it periodically but its starting to happen alot more. We had a picnic today and while we were out my hands started swelling and I suddenly couldnt get my wedding ring off that typically is so loose it could fall off. Iām trying to do some research and figure out what the cause is but alot of varying results. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
Any swelling in feet?
I get the finger swelling when I am in warm temperatures. Not sure why
My hands have been swelling. Only side effect I get. not sure if itās anything to worry about?
I havent noticed any swelling in my feet thus far. My wife keeps thinking Iām having an allergic reaction to something. Iām gonna try some Benadryl tonight and see if it subsides. Iām due for bloodwork per endos order. Might do that Monday morning at trough. Iāll do a big panel this time as I havent had bloodwork in quite a while. 6 months to be exact. Iām currently running my prescribed trt dose of 150 mgs per week. Hopefully my numbers arent jacked up.
I took an antihistamine earlier and within an hour BAM my wedding ring is sliding off no problem. Maybe Iām allergic to something? Not sure.
I will ask the obvious, have you added anything new to your diet? What were you eating at the picnic?
Nothing new really. I did have some watermelon at the picnic which is unusual for me but this has been happening more frequently than that. Enough that my wife has taken notice. Thats just based on me making little comments that my fingers are swollen.
Maybe the oil has changed in your Tcyp? Its gotta be something dude. Something changed or something new. New nasal spray, new brand of protein powder, etc?
Same old test cyp. Same old protien powder. Nothing new that I can think of. Iām about to get bloodwork and see the doc so maybe that will reveal something. Iām good right now. Been good ever since I took that antihistamine.
Keep me/us posted.
This may be a long shot, and it may be biased because I live in Montana, but has anything been happening (atmospherically speaking) in the area where you live? Fires? Dust storms?
I ask because I notice a huge change in my breathing (asthma gets harder to control), and I have on again off again swelling and watery eyes as well, but it only happens around the mid to late summer months. We know itās not spring time allergies because itās too late in the year for that. Iāve been trying to figure it out for a few years and my asthma / allergy doc thinks itās an overreaction (allergy) to the wildfire smoke we see in our area this time of year. I think sheās on to something.
In your case it could really be anything. You could have reactions to inhaled allergens and the symptoms are only bad enough to be noticeable in the hands and not so much everywhere elseā¦and it could be a physical allergic reaction to something you commonly touch that didnāt bother you before, but youāve developed an allergy over time. It could also be a certain food or seasoning that you commonly use as well. My wife will swell only in her hands if she eats a lot of sodium.
It is bullshit and new folks donāt know this so they stay under 1k but might need 1590. Sad really.
Did you check blood pressure? Maybe test dose if fluctuating heaviky and causing water retention?
So oddly enough this has happened to me for the first time this year. Suddenly I need my inhaler again a few times a week and have been using allergy nasal spray just to breathe and a few days a week my eyes are watery. Allergens pop up at different times through the seasons and August is the peak for mold spores.
I havent been keeping up with my blood pressure. It doesnt fluctuate very much even on 500 mg of test. Iāll check it tonight but Iām fairly certain it is low. Sometines it dips down to 90/50. I get dizzy at that point.
Yeah it sucks having allergies man. I know itās the bodyās natural defense but geez the symptoms seem worse than the potential danger sometimes lol!!
Iāve been tested for every known allergen in my area and the only thing that popped was dandelions. That could change next year though. For me the wildfire theory seems to make the most sense. It was really bad two years ago, and again this year, and the fires followed the same pattern. Two years ago the fires were almost in my backyard. Last year was kind of mellow. This year, there a few local fires and the majority are a ways off, but the weather patterns have been keeping the smoke trapped in the Missoula valley. Hopefully next year is mild again.
Do you use an inhaler for asthma or is it more allergy / COPD related?
