Ya right… nope I do not use defy. Ok I’ll get that and got we done!
Hey bro, interesting labs. I also thought your DHEA would go up. Maybe it needs more time?
How do you feel at this level compared to 180 a week? How about lower?
Any difference in intensity or muscle growth?
I feel like my muscle growth is amazing on just high normal levels. I guess whether you drop the dose or not depends on whether you think you are getting anything out of that little bit of extra testosterone.
Maybe being on such a high dose is somehow suppressing dhea/preg?
Wow, look at that lower end hematocrit level with Total T being nearly 2000!
Yeah maybe more time. Will see what physio says. I will do a little research too. I dont feel too much different. A bit more “on” and recovery may be a little bit quicker.
I dont have many measurements but I seem to slowly be filling out which would make sense since the scale doesnt budge but my belly button measurement keeps shrinking.
“depends on whether you think you are getting anything out of that little bit of extra testosterone” I mean even if its a little bit maybe its worth it? Doesnt seem to have any negatives yet.
I think that’s where you are golden. Your not having any side effects, besides the minor lack of nut.
I am kinda in the same boat regarding my weight staying somewhat similar, but I am CLEARLY putting on size and losing weight. My wife mentioned some type of scanning tool at a local gym, may give that a shot. Don’t know much about that stuff.
Watts is a lucky man. His body responds well and he doesn’t have issues with hct estrogen and etc. My hct is also lower (41%) even though my levels were off the charts… too high to report.
I’m curious do you notice any difference in labido? Or is that the same also?
I gained 15 lbs in 3 months and am starting to lean out. I jsut eat real foods and go to the gym every few days. Sometimes twice a week and occasionally 4 x a week. Anyways I’m jsut surprised how quick I grew. I doubt this would of happened if I wasn’t on trt.
One thing that is interesting . I was recovering very fast a few weeks ago. I would go for a super hard ride with the boys and next morning barely felt soar. I could go again.
My levels are probably 30-40% lower now and I rode crazy hard this Saturday. I woke up Sunday and my legs were trashed. I didn’t want to ride… I went anyways and my Sunday ride was all hell for the entirety of 50 miles… I woke up Monday and still tired, but Tuesday felt nothing.
What I’m getting to is that for me it seems higher levels help in recovery times. Big time.
I haven’t seen any changes in labido high or low. I guess this means you don’t need crazy high levels to have good labido.
i wonder at what level does one need there T to see a drastic change in muscle growth. Is it linear or is there a point it starts excelling. BB guys take a gram as there base. Maybe it doesn’t add much benefit. Otherwise they’d be doing more…like 1k isn’t more… lol
Libido was higher the first few weeks but has leveled off. That being said I can ramp up quickly. And Ive had several of the best orgasms of my life in the last 6 weeks. My wife and I are in a better spot than we ever have been so that may have a lot to do with it.
My first run with TRT at a clinic started off great. I had come off a big back surgery - so no heavy training for months + a slew of meds + general inactivity = huge depression and just overall weakness. The TRT initially made me feel like a million bucks, but soon I’d see the Dr. wasn’t really doing his job (at least IMO)
Like your early posts, I was prescribed Cyp. I was never offerend HCG or Anastrozole and at first I didn’t request info on it, since I felt great and no negatives to be felt/seen.
FFW a few months and then the major atrophy - doc gave HCG w/out adjusting my dosage (200mg per week in 1 shot/possible of 2) So I end up well over what I ever needed Test wise @ 1350-1400 reading, but my Red Blood cells were out of whack and my E2 had gone way up with the new super high levels in my system. Needless to say I was back to feeling like shit - high BP, bad sleeping patterns, sweating all the time for no reason etc.
Now off of the shots and trying to rebound on my own, but in the next 2 months will start with a new clinic and new knowledge.
Armed with the new knowledge that I’ve gained through 1st hand struggle and the answers I’ve found here (really great feedback from the T Nation forum - thank you)
Few tips I’m gonna use this time:
Inject at least 2 maybe as many as 4 times a week.
Inject SubQ
Start with lower than 200mg / week maybe 125-150 (will have to see how I feel and adjust)
Start with HCG and stay on it.
Avoid Anastrazol or other Anti-E’s if I can (this should be doable with more frequent injections and reasonable dose’s)
Oh god how’s that going? Why did you get on in the first place?
Awesome congrats my friend congrats!!
I’m currently having issues with sensitivity . Have you experienced this issue. Does it get better over time… they say it’s estrogen, but man mixed reviews.
I went back up to 3 clicks am and pm. That’s 150mg am and pm. Today I decided why not try 2clicos 100 am and pm. I’ll do this for a week or so. If it helps I’ll know quick.
I still have about 3 weeks of cypionate stored in my fat and muscle.
What type of sensitivity?
Why don’t you just start a new protocol instead of going off. Aren’t you worried about the depression and fatigue that is going to come back for sure ?
During sex. I can get erect but don’t feel shit… like 10% of what I used to feel .
Yeah, I have NOT experienced that at all. Im strapped down for dear life upon entry and holding back. Luckily my wife is way quicker than me ![]()
Ok good. I’m just being patient that’s why I haven’t posted on my log. Doc told me 3-4 months and he will tweak my protoco every 4-6 weeks… I wouldn’t be surprised if I jsut need to let my body adapt. I do fee better as every few weeks pass.
Glad you and the wife are doing well. Good for you brother!
TRT saved my marriage bro. It was going down a dark path.
Not going well to be honest.
I got on as I mentioned because of the back surgery and resulting lack of drive of any sort. I was 39 about to be 40 and had dabbled with cycling before over the years but never anything too crazy.
I was at that age, recovering from injury and decided to give the clinic a go, sure enough my levels were low and voilat’ got started.
It’s not uncommon for guys who cycled AAs as kids to end up here. Messing with the endocrine system before its fully developed can lead to lifelong issues.
Saw you guys talking about salt earlier in your log. I usually undersalt my food and I’m working on correcting that. How much in your opinion is adequate?
Not for me. I did a few small-ish cycles consisting of Anavar, Winstrol, and Test Cyp once ever few years from mid 20’s to early 30’s, but I always bounced back quickly. I did a whole thread on my situation (I don’t want to bore you with the details here)
In my mid 30’s was the last time I got T checked and it was either 967 or 976 ( I always transpose those) but it was high end normal, the Dr said it was “Optimal” When I did that blood work, I was easily 2 years out from doing a cycle and was only taking protein, amino’s & glutamine (also was drinking 2-3 times a week and eating whatever I wanted) the joys of youth I guess ![]()
After a particularly rough back surgery (opiates + operation + Cortisone injections + not being able to get around well = wrecked T level) I got to the Dr and my levels were around 200. That was when I started the TRT.
For brevity, my Dr. turned out to be in it for the money IMO, so out of anger & maybe stupidity even, I quit. I do have Chlomid, but it makes me feel more miserable than anything, so instead of going through less than legal channels to get all the HCG and other things, I am taking a few weeks off (I know…no need to remind me) then starting back up with a new Dr. This will give my blood a chance to thin out (Hemocrit was sky high BP way up) and Hormone levels a chance to level off.
